Dr. Roto’s Daily Prescription: Jordan Addison Cited for Speeding

After Vikings first-rounder Jordan Addison was cited for going 140 miles per hour in a 55 limit zone, Dr. Roto gives his take.

I have no words for Jordan Addison’s behavior. Driving 140 mph in a 55 zone is indefensible. As Mama Roto used to say to me, “A car is a weapon.” Luckily no one was injured, especially Addison.
It gives me cause to wonder whether sometimes we forget that NFL rookies are largely between the ages of 20-22 and don’t always show the best judgment. I don’t like to see suspensions, but perhaps one game off would help Addison to understand his poor decision-making.
Will this affect my drafting Addison? Yes, but not in the way you might think. I never hold grudges against a player or look to his real-life issues when drafting my fantasy teams. What I am sensing, though, is that there might still be some more immaturity in him, and K.J. Osborn might keep the WR2 position slightly longer than I initially thought.
I still love Addison as a talent and believe that he has a bright future in this dynamic Vikings offense. Hopefully he can go back to playing football quickly without continued negativity.
