Here are this week’s fantasy baseball prospects to keep your eye on.

OF Walker Jenkins – Minnesota Twins

Walker Jenkins is a season away from becoming a household name for the Minnesota Twins. The left-handed hitter is slashing .283/.420/.417 with three home runs and 15 RBI between Rookie, A, and AA. He has yet to tap into his full potential, averaging over 30 HR per season. His best attribute is his keen sense of the strike zone, as he has 26 walks to 27 strikeouts on the season. 2026 is the season to snatch up Jenkins in all fantasy baseball leagues.

OF Owen Caissie – Chicago Cubs

Part of the deal that sent Yu Darvish to San Diego, Owen Caissie is developing into a true power bat for the Cubs. This season, Caissie is slashing .270/.376/.557 with 19 home runs and 42 RBI for AAA Iowa. He’s well on his way to surpassing his career high of 22 home runs and 84 RBI set in 2023. Caissie’s glaring flaw is his 35% strikeout rate, but this is something the hitter will learn to manage in time. Caissie may get his call later this season, but 2026 should see him reach the Majors with everyday at-bats.

RHP Trey Yesavage – Toronto Blue Jays

The 20th overall pick in last year’s draft has dominated this season. In 16 starts, between A, A+, and AA, he has a 3.19 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and 111 strikeouts in 67.2 innings. At 6’4” 225lbs, Yesavage possesses the ideal makeup of a top-end starting pitcher. He brings a modest mid-90s fastball, but his calling cards are his slider and splitter. If he continues to dominate the rest of this season, Yesavage should be expected to start 2026 in AAA while reaching Toronto as early as June.

RHP Jonah Tong – New York Mets

The young right-handed starter has been dominant for AA Binghamton. In 16 starts, Tong has a 1.71 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and 132 strikeouts in 84 innings. Possessing a fastball in the low-90s, Tong’s shown the ability to rack up a high strikeout total with his elite curveball, slider, and plus-changeup. As dominant as he’s been, the concern is Tong’s 37 walks in 84 innings. Still, there is a lot to be excited about with Tong, and he’s a season away from reaching New York.
