Two Minute Drill
  • QB Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars – After suffering what appeared to be a gruesome injury on Monday night, Lawrence will play against the Browns. Since Lawrence is not 100%, he will not have his usual mobility. I am fading Lawrence today with the uncertainty of how severe that injury against the Bengals was.

  • RB Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars – Etienne will also suit up for Jacksonville after suffering a rib injury. I am fading the Jaguars all together with the uncertain lingering issues for both Lawrence and Etienne.

  • WR Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints – Olave is expected to play after battling an illness throughout the week, but is not 100%. WR Rashid Shaheed is also out. RB Alvin Kamara is one of the most expensive running backs on today’s slate, but he will be worth the price with the amount of touches the Saints will be forced to feed him.

  • TE Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints – New Orleans’ Swiss Army knife is not expected to play. Some may pivot to Juwan Johnson, but he is a TD or bust play even with all of the injuries to the Saints. I’m sticking with Kamara and would only play Johnson in DFS for a punt play.

  • RB Breece Hall, New York Jets – Hall is expected to play after dealing with an ankle injury. The Texans have looked great this year, but I expect the Jets’ stellar defense to pose problems for CJ Stroud. This game will remain close, which bodes well for Hall.

  • QB Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks – Geno Smith is unlikely to start, but he will be a game-time decision. If he does not start, Drew Lock will take over the offense. Seattle RBs Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are also dealing with injuries. Both are expected to play, but with the possibility of Drew Lock being supported by two banged up RBs, I’m fading the Seattle offense against San Francisco.
