Happy Monday, everyone as we finally get into the dog days of summer. With Night of Champions coming up and Vengeance enthalpy, the WWE has a lot planned this summer from great PPVs and special events leading up to Summerslam. That being said, let’s get to this week’s rankings and storylines as we get ready for another great week of WWE TV. Have a great day, everyone and may the slams be with you.

John Cena: John Cena thought he would show up this week running his mouth and telling people how he felt. So everyone, including C.M. Punk wasn’t having any of that so he decided to come chat with John for a bit. It was after that when Ron Killings, A.K.A R-Truth, showed up attacking Cena from behind. Now that R-Truth has a new angle, Cena might want to be worried, especially with Seth waiting for an opportunity to cash in his briefcase.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins: Seth Rollins didn’t have to do much last week after winning the briefcase at Money in the Bank. So it was a rest week for Rollins but you can bet he’ll be back tonight on Monday Night Rollins, ready to shake things up.

Cody Rhodes: Cody Rhodes slayed John Cena during their promo last week. Not only did he make John look dumb but the whole night, Cena was getting it. From being told off to Killings attacking him, you can say that everybody got a shot to make Cena look weak. What a great night.

“Main Event” Jey Uso: Jey Uso had become complacent and cocky as champ and when the WWE flashed that graphic that highlighted Jey’s 51 days as champ, I knew he was losing to Gunther. It was sad to see it happen because what seemed like a huge build was squashed in less than two months. Unless the WWE has plans to reunite the original Bloodline, I don’t see why you would make someone so over, a transitional champ.

Bron Breakker: Bron Breakker faced off against Sami Zane, Penta and Dominik Mysterio for a chance to become King of the Ring, in a Fatal-Four Way match. However you knew once Bron came out, he was winning this match. As this faction gets stronger the entire WWE better pay attention or they’ll end up on the wrong side of a good beatdown.

C.M. Punk: C.M. Punk has become a thorn in Cena’s side as he continuously comes out to goad him as they approach their championship match at the Night of Champions. Of course I don’t see Cena losing this match so for me it’s next up. However, it’s great to see both of these phenomenal superstars lock it up one last time.

Gunther: Gunther came into Monday Night RAW determined to beat Jey in their World Heavyweight Championship Match, and he did. A lot of people disagree with this move by the WWE but if you take a step back, Jey doesn’t need a title to have people screaming yeet. Gunther, who some say is boring, is a hard working wrestler that is more relevant with a title. I feel that’s why the WWE made this move so let’s all see where it goes before we judge it.

Jacob Fatu: Jacob Fatu came out and explained why he did what he did to Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank. After that he issued a direct threat to Solo and J.C. Mateo was eventually cut off by Solo appearing on the Titantron. That’s when Solo said he has a job for Jaco leaving him confused and all of us wondering what the ex-tribal chief had up his sleeves.

L.A. Knight: L.A. Knight was in it all week which led to him telling Cena off like the rest of the superstars. Knight did have a King of the Ring qualifying match to prepare for in which he faced off against Randy Orton, Carmelo Hayes, and Aleister Black. In the end, Randy won but Knight was strong the entire match showing that the WWE still values it’s Mega-star wrestler.

Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns is still off of T.V. and should be back shortly. With so many Samoans running around calling out shots, the Original Tribal Chief will soon be back to clean this mess up. I feel that this could be the task that Solo was talking about that he has for Jacob. Solo had to be worried that Roman is coming back soon and this is why I think he’s trying to make amends with Fatu. That way he has the upper edge on Roman prior to his return, but I don’t think Jacob will be on board so it should be entertaining watching this all blow up in his face.
