Bats

73% 3B, SS Colson Montgomery, Chicago White Sox- He now has 18 bombs in 188 at bats. His ratios leave a lot to be desired, but he’ll give you power and is an exciting young talent who could go off any week.

70% 1B Kyle Manzardo, Cleveland Guardians- Hits in 8 of his past 10 games with 4 bombs! He’s now up to 25 homers on the year, though his ratios could stand to improve a good amount. He has taken a walk and not struck out in 3 straight games, so hopefully he’s improving his plate discipline.

47% 3B, SS, OF Jeremiah Jackson, Baltimore Orioles- Has hits in 9 of his past 10 games with 2 more bombs and a few nice multi-hit performances. He’s sporting a great .316/.345/.509 slash and has a really useful triple eligibility.

41% OF JJ Bleday, Oakland Athletics- Has 4 bombs over his past 4 games with 7 hits. If this is the start of a hot streak, he could be worth scooping, as he does have some power in his bat.

33% 1B, 2B, SS Romy Gonzalez, Boston Red Sox- On a 9-game hitting streak with 6 of those being multi-hit games. Has experienced a mini breakout this year with excellent batted ball data to support his good hitting.

30% OF Drew Gilbert, San Francisco Giants- His bat has heated up, and he’s hit 2 bombs and 10 RBI over the past 8 games.

18% OF Dylan Lile, Washington Nationals- Riding an impressive 6-game hitting streak, with 5 being multi-hit performances. Could be useful in deeper leagues as he offers a little pop, speed, and decent ratios.

Pitchers

*75%  SP Nolan McLean, New York Mets- That’s 4 straight wins for McLean, who’s rocking an incredible 1.37 ERA and .759 WHIP with a great K rate. If he is still somehow available in your league, you need to prioritize adding him.

*71% SP Jonah Tong, New York Mets- Tong led the minor leagues in strikeouts before his callup, and although his 2nd start wasn’t nearly as good as his 1st, he’s still a good arm who should start for the remainder of the season. It’s worth checking to see if he’s available.

61% SP Luis Morales, Philadelphia Phillies – Morales has been very good, especially lately. After his 1st start, where he went 2 innings with no runs but walked 5 guys, he has had a 5/26 BB/K ratio in his 4 starts since. He also has wins in 3 of those 4, and deserves your consideration in any leagues where he’s still out there.

55% SP Luis Garcia, Houston Astros – It was a good first start back for Garcia, who went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs, no walks, and 6 strikeouts against the Angels. He’s usually a solid arm who is worth owning and starting when he’s on his game.

51% SP Ian Seymour, Tampa Bay Rays – It’s uncertain whether Seymour will continue to start games for the Rays or if he’ll remain a bit of a hybrid SP/RP for the rest of the season. He has done pretty well when he has started, though, and could be worth owning and starting in fantasy lineups for his Wins and K’s potential.
