Whether it’s moonshot home runs, clutch base hits, or multi-hit games that just won’t quit, these dawgs got it done. We’re breaking down the hottest players at the plate — guys who raked, slugged, and changed games with nearly every swing. Let’s look at who tore it up and made noise last week around the league, in no particular order.

Cal Raleigh (SEA – C)

Last Week’s Line: .417/.482/1.125/1.607, 5 HR, 12 RBI, 10 R, 2 SB

Big series in Chicago over the weekend for the Big Dumper, who absolutely cooked at Wrigley. Oh, and a six-RBI night courtesy of a salami Tuesday night at T-Mobile.

Ketel Marte (ARI – 2B)

Last Week’s Line: .458/.500/.792/1.292, 1 HR, 7 RBI, 8 R, 0 SB

Who doesn’t love a series in Coors? Runs and RBIs galore on the week for Ketel, who’s been on a tear since coming back from injury in early May.

Byron Buxton (MIN – OF)

Last Week’s Line: .391/.482/1.217/1.699, 6 HR, 6 RBI, 7 R, 1 SB

Super fun to see Buxton humming right along injury-free. Runs in nearly every game this week, plus two multi-HR efforts (2 @ Cincinnati on Thursday, and 2 @ home against the Brewers on Sunday).

Mickey Moniak (COL – OF)

Last Week’s Line: .348/.375/1.000/1.375, 4 HR, 9 RBI, 6 R, 1 SB

Did someone mention a series at Coors? 2 HR and 5 RBI over the weekend, sure. But the Mick also had a nice little series in our nation’s capital to start the week.

Eugenio Suarez (ARI – 3B)

Last Week’s Line: .440/.464/1.000/1.464, 4 HR, 10 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB

Marte wasn’t the only Diamondback who ate at Coors this week. Plus a 4-ribeye effort up in Canada at the Rogers Centre on Thursday afternoon.

Riley Greene (DET – OF)

Last Week’s Line: .478/.500/1.000/1.500, 3 HR, 10 RBI, 7 R, 0 SB

Is he Detroit’s best hitter? Maybe. But he sure was last week. Two three-hit efforts and two four-RBI efforts, including two nukes down in Tampa on Friday.

Isaac Collins (MIL – OF)

Last Week’s Line: .389/.455/.833/1.288, 2 HR, 8 RBI, 7 R, 1 SB

15 runs and ribeyes combined in only 18 ABs? Technically 21 because he added three walks, but still. Fantastic production on a per-AB basis.

Nick Kurtz (ATH – 1B)

Last Week’s Line: .296/.345/.815/1.160, 4 HR, 8 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB

I know it officially started on Sunday, but five HR in six games will almost certainly land you in my weekly features. Kurtz’s arrival has been overshadowed by Jac Cags over in Kansas City, but it’s Kurtz putting on the show at the moment.

Ronald Acuna, Jr. (ATL – OF)

Last Week’s Line: .421/.593/.684/1.277, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 11 R, 1 SB

Acuna has been scorching hot since his return from the IL, and this past week was no different. Big weekend in Miami, runs in every game (table setter, hello, and even a swipe from the surgically repaired knees. Welcome back, Ron.

Christian Yelich (MIL – OF)

Last Week’s Line: .478/.500/.652/1.152, 0 HR, 11 RBI, 2 R, 2 SB

What is this, 2019? Because Yelich’s bat sure thought so. Eight RBIs Friday night against the Twins? For reals? Multiple hits in all but one and two steals to boot. An 1.152 OPS is insane in general, but for Yelich we’re forced to bemoan a hell yeah.
