% Shows current Fantrax ownership level

* Starred players could offer special upside

Hitters

*78% 1B Nick Kurtz, Oakland Athletics- Hits in 8 of his past 10 games with home runs in 5 of his last 7. He is a priority pickup if he’s still available.

78% 1B, 3B, SS Josh Smith, Texas Rangers- He is now rocking a 9-game hitting streak and needs to be owned in all formats when you factor in his rare triple eligibility.

74% C, 1B Augustin Ramirez, Miami Marlins- Has 11 bombs on the season and is currently underperforming his peripherals.

72% 3B, OF Cam Smith, Houston Astros- A good young bat who has heated up lately but still needs to learn how to lift the ball with more frequency (48% groundball rate).

*69% 3B/OF Addison Barger, Toronto Blue Jays- Plays almost exclusively against righties, but his peripheral stats are elite. He is hitting high in the lineup when he plays and offers a great chance for production each time out.

68% 1B, OF Gavin Sheets, San Diego Padres- Sneaky good batted ball stats. On an impressive 12-game hitting streak right now!

67% OF Trent Grisham, New York Yankees- Still practicing good plate discipline and getting a lot of playing time. He has heated up, slugging 2 homers in his past 3 games.

68% 3B, SS, OF Zach McKinstry, Detroit Tigers- Phenomenal triple positional eligibility. Has a solid .268/.350/.424 slash line on the season with 4 homers and 7 steals.

65% C Alejandro Kirk, Toronto Blue Jays- Just had a 2-homer game recently and now has a very strong .311/.352/.439 slash on the season with 7 home runs. Trending upwards.

65% 3B,SS,OF Javier Baez, Detroit Tigers- The streaky Baez is on another tear right now. His triple eligibility makes him worth considering while he’s hot. Interestingly, he has as many walks as strikeouts (3:3) over his last 10 games played. If he can continue to stay more patient, that would be huge for him.

65% OF Austin Hays, Cincinnati Reds- Injured but worth stashing if possible. Seems to hopefully be back on track with his recovery.

*63% OF Jordan Beck, Colorado Rockies- He’s on a 4-game hitting streak with 2 home runs in that small stretch of time. Despite all the strikeouts, he still holds a .261 batting average with 10 homers and 8 steals this season.

59% 2B, OF Hyeseong Kim, Los Angeles Dodgers- Peripherals show he might be playing over his head a bit, but considering he’s rocking a .378/.418/.541 slash, even if he regresses, he can still be quite useful. The main issue is playing time.

59% SS JP Crawford, Seattle Mariners- Batting leadoff. He has hit in 7 of his past 10 games and has walked twice as much as he has struck out during this stretch.

59% 2B, OF Jeff McNeil, New York Mets- Has 19 walks to 13 strikeouts this season and is sporting an encouraging .493 slugging percentage.

50% C Carlos Narvaez, Boston Red Sox- As long as he keeps taking the walks, he should continue to heat up and perform well as Boston’s starting catcher.

49% OF Jake Meyers, Houston Astros- Good news: he’s on a 9-game hitting streak. Bad news: he’s been caught stealing in both of his last 2 attempts.

44% 1B Ty France, Minnesota Twins- His groundball rate has crept up over the past few years, and it’s likely what is holding him back the most in fantasy. Otherwise, his peripheral stats remain quite promising despite his mediocre production thus far (he at least has provided pretty good counting stats).

37% 1B, 3B Abraham Toro, Boston Red Sox- Has cooled off lately but is still receiving a lot of playing time. Look to see if he can start taking more walks; otherwise, it’ll likely be hard for him to remain in the lineup long term.

26% 1B, 3B, OF Eric Wagaman, Miami Marlins- On a modest 5-game hitting streak right now and his peripherals suggest that he could be doing significantly better.

*22% OF Tyler Freeman, Colorado Rockies- On a 9-game hitting streak and has encouragingly attempted stealing 4 bases during this stretch (though he was caught twice). He feels like he could emerge as a difference maker in deeper formats due to his bat-to-ball skills (91% contact rate) and decent speed.

11% OF Heriberto Hernandez, Miami Marlins- Could be worth a look in deeper leagues,

Pitchers

75% SP Noah Cameron, Kansas City Royals- Has an excellent 2.08 ERA and .965 WHIP on the season. Even if/when that regresses further, he has the talent to continue rewarding his owners.

*75% SP Will Warren, New York Yankees- Has great upside and has been a decent source of wins and K’s, but has been frustratingly inconsistent.

75% RP Will Vest, Detroit Tigers- The closer for Detroit. Should be owned everywhere.

*74% RP Emilio Pagan, Cincinnati Reds- The closer for the Reds, and a good one. Should be owned in all leagues.

68% SP Chase Burns, Cincinnati Reds- The top pitching prospect will be called up next week! Now is your last chance to grab him, though unfortunately, he won’t be as cheap as he’ll likely be one of the most added players this weekend.

65% SP Quinn Priester, Milwaukee Brewers- That’s 4 wins in a row now for Priester. His peripherals are pretty lackluster for the most part, but his nearly 60% groundball rate is very encouraging and is no doubt the main reason for the success he has had so far. He’s also walking fewer batters lately, so if he can keep this up, that would be really helpful for him.

57% RP Shelby Miller, Arizona Diamondbacks- He’s now the closer for the Diamondbacks with both Puk and Martinez out for the season and needs to be owned everywhere.

47% SP Brandon Walter, Houston Astros- Rough last start with 7 runs allowed, though he did still maintain a good strikeout to walk ratio. Hopefully, he can right the ship, though he’ll be facing a dangerous Chicago batting lineup next time out.

39% SP Mike Soroka, Washington Nationals- Still a sneaky good add in deeper leagues, though he’s facing the best batting lineup in the game next in the Dodgers.

*38% SP Joe Boyle, Tampa Bay Rays- A hell of an arm that is worth stashing if possible, despite currently being stuck in the minors (as evidenced by his high ownership still).

36% SP Sawyer Gipson-Long, Detroit Tigers- Is starting and still carries some intriguing upside, especially in deeper leagues.
