Hitters

*77% 1B Nick Kurtz, Oakland Athletics- He has been striking out too much, so his ownership has dropped slightly. Still worth grabbing to see if he starts to heat up.

76% 3B, SS, OF Zach McKinstry, Detroit Tigers- Phenomenal triple positional eligibility and has been great so far. Owns an impressive .302/.387/.443 slash.

*73% C, 1B Augustin Ramirez, Miami Marlins- Has cooled off a bit but still offers significant upside.

*70% OF Chandler Simpson, Tampa Bay Rays- Insane speed. Another 2 bags stolen last game and has a nice .286 batting average. Still available in 30% of Fantrax leagues.

*70% OF Austin Hays, Cincinnati Reds- Worth stashing if possible while on the IL.

67% OF Mike Yastrzemski, San Francisco Giants- Awesome start to the season and hitting leadoff now. Owns a nice .275/.378/.490 slash.

61% OF Trent Grisham, New York Yankees- Still hitting very well when he does play and is up to 8 homers now.

*60% OF Jordan Beck, Colorado Rockies- He has significant power and speed upside if he can maintain a decent plate discipline, but he still has a lot of work to do.

57% 2B, SS Luisangel Acuna, New York Mets- Already has 7 steals, but playing time could be drying up.

52% JP Crawford, Seattle Mariners- Has over a 10-game hitting streak and has smacked all 3 of his bombs during this stretch. Is worth a look if you need middle infield help.

49% 1B Ty France, Minnesota Twins- A sneaky good hitter playing daily. Could be a difference maker in mid to deep leagues and is widely available. Getting a bit unlucky right now.

44% 1B, OF Gavin Sheets, San Diego Padres- Has been cold recently, but just hit a bomb in his last game, so could heat up. Plays most of the time, but not all the time.

42% 1B, 3B Eric Wagaman, Miami Marlins- Has cooled off a bit but is still playing every day and hitting high in the lineup.

41% 3B, SS, OF Javier Baez, Detroit Tigers- Has caught fire recently with a home run in his last 3 games, but is very much playing over his head right now. It might be worth grabbing to try to catch lightning in a bottle.

38% C Edgar Quero, Chicago White Sox- Very good hitting prospect who debuted recently, has been playing well and should get a lot of playing time.

27% OF Jake Meyers, Houston Astros—He was doing next to nothing until his historic last game, where he hit two bombs and racked up a whopping seven RBIs. It could be a flash in the pan, but he also has seven steals this year. Playing time is still a concern.

28% OF Alek Thomas, Arizona Diamondbacks- Is getting playing time and has breakout potential. Still very available.

Pitchers

75% SP Andrew Abbott, Cincinnati Reds- The 9 walks over his last 2 games are mighty concerning. I’d be benching him for now if I owned him.

72% SP Griffin Canning, New York Mets- Great source of wins so far, but WHIP is higher than you like to see. Good whiff rate, but needs to bring down those walks. Definitely worth owning.

67% RP Camilo Doval, San Francisco—Ryan Walker looks like the favorite for saves, but Doval is also pitching well and will likely get some now and then.

*66% Tony Gonsolin, Los Angeles Dodgers- There is room in the Dodgers’ rotation, and Gonsolin has just returned from his long absence after having Tommy John surgery. He had an incredible first start with no walks and 9 strikeouts over 6 innings, netting him the win. He needs to be owned everywhere.

66% SP Hayden Wesneski, Houston Astros—This is a good arm who is very much worth owning, but his value is still ultimately capped due to poor Astros run production so far.

*65% SP Lucas Giolito, Boston Red Sox- Great 1st start and is worth grabbing if available!

*64% RP Emilio Pagan, Cincinnati Reds- As it turns out, Alexis Diaz does not seem to be ready to be the Reds’ closer. Pagan now has 8 saves and is the guy to own. Last chance to snag if he isn’t already owned!

63% RP Luke Jackson, Texas Rangers- His decline has begun, but he is still the closer… for now.

56% SP Andre Pallante, St. Louis Cardinals- Deceivingly good pitcher due to his absurdly high groundball rate (nearly 70%). It could help owners rack up wins without sacrificing too much in the way of ratio. You’ll need to try to pick your start with him, though.

*50% SP Ben Casparius, Los Angeles Dodgers- Looks like he’ll be transitioning into a starter. Already has 3 wins and has filthy stuff. He is worth grabbing where possible.

50% SP Ryan Gusto, Houston Astros- A good arm, but could be in danger of losing his rotation spot with Lance McCullers returning.

49% SP, RP Colin Rea, New York Mets- Has continued to pitch quite well and has won both of his last 2 starts. He’s worth scooping if available.

46% SP Will Warren, New York Yankees—He could be worth holding if you have the roster space, though, as he has pretty good stuff. However, it might be a while before he figures it all out, so this might not be the year to own him.

*38% RP Shelby Miller, Arizona Diamondbacks- Currently the closer due to injuries and has been phenomenal so far this season. Well worth picking up in most leagues.
