Last Weeks Record: 10-6-1
Past Eight Weeks Record: 66-49-6
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. MORE than 7.5 Fantasy Points
Vlad is currently on a 22-game hitting streak and has 22 extra-base hits during that time, including 10 HR. There is no hotter hitter in MLB, so until he cools off, he is worth picking a prop on every day. He faces JP Sears today, who has pitched better lately, but he is a lefty, and Vlad has crushed lefties this season. He is batting .342 with a .451 OBP and a 1.108 OPS against LHP.
Zach Neto MORE than 0.5 Runs
Over the past seven games, Neto has been batting .423 with three HR, five runs, 10 RBI, and two SBs. He also has a great matchup today, taking on LHP MacKenzie Gore, who has been lit up over his past six starts. In his past 25.1 innings, Gore has allowed 25 ER. Neto smashes LHP, too, batting an insane .423 against them this season with a .461 OBP and 1.052 OPS. It’s worth noting that he has scored seven runs in his past eight games.
Dylan Cease MORE than 7.5 Strikeouts
If you are a consistent reader of my RT Parlay articles, you know I have been going with Padres SP against the Marlins over the past few days. Martin Perez delivered for us, Matt Waldron delivered for us, and today, it’s Dylan Cease’s turn to deliver for us. Cease has an amazing 176 K’s in 137 innings this season, making him one of the top strikeout pitchers in MLB this year. With regards to picking on the Marlins, not only do they strike out a lot, but overall, they rank 29th in runs per game, OBP, and SLG.
Yordan Alvarez MORE than 7 Fantasy Points
He is heating up! When he gets hot like this, few hitters in the league are more dangerous than Yordan. He has hit four HRs over his past four games and multiple hits in three of those four games. He will face LHP James Paxton today, who looked good in his first start of the season with the Red Sox, but overall, he hasn’t been very good. The thing is, Yordan has reverse splits this season. He is hitting better against lefties than he is against righties. He has a .361 AVG, .421 OBO, and .998 OPS against lefties compared to a .270, .375, .892 against righties.
