We have an 8-game slate on Draft Kings starting at 7:10 p.m. ET. Check out my favorite players at each position, value plays, and stacks! Our partners at DFSHero.com provide us with access to their lineup optimizer and AI simulator, which we use to provide you with the best DFS plays every day!

SP:

Paul Skenes, Pirates (DK: $10,500 | FD: $11,500)

Nick Pivetta, Red Sox (DK: $8,500 | FD: $9,400)

Notes: The DFS Hero Optimizer projects Skenes and Pivetta to be the top two scoring pitchers. Skenes averages 26 points per game, and he has had 7-plus strikeouts in NINE straight games, making him a must-play.

Stacks:

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Washington Nationals

Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox

Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds

Notes: The Optimizer projects the Diamondbacks to score over five runs, with the Royals just a hair under 5. The Optimizer also projects a Cub stack to have the most value.

C:

Salvador Perez, Royals (DK: $4,900 | FD: $3,000)

Cal Raleigh, Mariners (DK: $4,500 | FD: $2,900)

Notes: The Optimizer projects Perez to lead all catchers in scoring. He does have the highest ceiling vs. SP Chris Flexen and a bad White Sox bullpen. Raleigh has a ton of power and will be less owned than Perez.

1B:

Matt Olson, Braves (DK: $5,100 | FD: $3,200)

Michael Busch, Cubs (DK: $3,800 | FD: $2,700)

Notes: Olson is projected to be the top-scoring first baseman, while Busch is projected to be a point less, giving him great value.

2B:

Marcus Semien, Rangers (DK: $4,900 | FD: $3,400)

Notes: Semien is projected to finish second in second basemen, scoring behind Ketel Marte, but as more value because he is $700 cheaper. Semien is my favorite play on the slate.

3B:

Royce Lewis, Twins (DK: $5,200 | FD: $3,500)

Notes: Lewis is priced about $600 less than before his last stint on the IL. He averages 10 points per game and is going to go on a tear soon.

SS:

Bobby Witt Jr., Royals (DK: $6,400 | FD: $4,300)
Elly De La Cruz, Reds (DK: $6,200 | FD: $4,200)

Notes: Both Witt and Cruz are projected to be the top two scoring short stops. Both can crush the slate with power and speed. I prefer Witt tonight, but I think you must have one of these players in your lineup.

OF:

Lane Thomas, Nationals (DK: $5,000 | FD: $3,200)

Alec Burleson, Cardinals (DK: $4,200 | FD: $2,900)

Ian Happ, Cubs (DK: $4,200 | FD: $3,200)

Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Diamondbacks (DK: $4,200 | FD: )

Notes: These are mid-priced guys who can do a lot of damage. If I am paying up for Skenes, Witt, and Semien, then I can’t pay top dollar in the outfield.

Value Players:

3B Jared Triolo, Pirates (DK: $2,300 | FD: $2,300)

C Gabriel Moreno, Diamondbacks (DK: $3,400 | FD: $2,800)

OF Jacob Young, Nationals (DK: $3,400 | FD: $2,600)

OF Hunter Renfroe, Royals (DK: $3,400 | FD: $2,700)

SS Dansby Swanson, Cubs (DK: $3,500 | FD: $2,600)

SP Colin Rea, Brewers (DK: $6,900 | FD: $8,900)

Notes: Rea has scored 22.5 points in 6 of his last 8 games. The optimizer projects Triolo, Renfro, and Moreno to finish in top 4 value at their positions. I like Young who can steal multiple bases and Swanson is a perfect punt play if you want to fade both De La Cruz and Witt Jr.
