This Weeks Record: 2-2
Last Weeks Record: 8-6-3
Past Four Weeks Record: 42-27-5
Christopher Sanchez LESS than 5.5 Strikeouts
Sanchez has been excellent this season, with seven wins, a 2.96 ERA, and a 1.23 WHIP. He lacks a little in the strikeout department, though. Over his past seven starts, he has only topped the 5.5 number one time, and it came against one of the worst teams in baseball, the Marlins. As good as he has been, it’s hard to buy into him striking out enough guys tonight based on what he has done recently.
Aaron Judge MORE than 7 Fantasy Points
Judge is the front-runner for the AL MVP award this year. He is putting together an incredible season, batting .308 with a .435 OBP, 34 HR, 74 runs, and 86 RBI. I usually do it whenever I see an option to take him for fantasy points. Even if he goes hitless, his ability to get on base, score runs, and even get a sac fly gives him a chance to top seven fantasy points easily, and of course, being the MLB leader in HR means that he can smack one of those and win this prop in one AB.
Matt Chapman MORE than 7.5 Fantasy Points
Overall, I am not a big fan of Chapman in fantasy baseball. He is inconsistent and strikes out a lot. With that being said, tonight, he is in such a great spot, but I have no choice but to play his prop. He is in Coors Field and has the platoon advantage against LHP Kyle Freeland, who has a 6.00 ERA and 1.62 WHIP this season. Also, the Rockies pitching staff overall should be targeted in prop betting. They rank last in the league in ERA, WHIP, and BAA.
Freddie Freeman MORE than 6 Fantasy Points
It’s worth noting that I like the Ohtani Fantasy Points prop in this game, too. Freeman just needs fewer points to win the prop, though, which is why I am prioritizing him. Freeman is a premier hitter in MLB and is in a great matchup tonight at home against Brayan Bello of the Red Sox. Bello has struggled a lot lately as well. Over his past ten starts, he has a 6.24 ERA, 1.71 WHIP, and .309 BAA.
