These are the top 10 pitching staffs in MLB right now:
1. Houston Astros

The Astros have a top 5 team ERA and BAA this season. Hunter Brown has become the ace of the staff, but Valdez is still an ace as well, and Josh Hader remains one of the best closers in the game.
2. Texas Rangers

Eovaldi and deGrom have been excellent so far for the Rangers, and their bullpen is much improved over the past few weeks.
3. San Francisco Giants

The Giants have gotten great pitching from Webb and Ray who are both NL Cy Young award candidates, and their bullpen has been sharp as well.
4. Kansas City Royals

The Royals rotation has picked up right where it left off a season ago, except for one big difference. Kris Bubic has become a legitimate weapon now, too.
5. Detroit Tigers

Mize and Skubal have been very good, Flaherty has been up and down but is mostly reliable, and the Tigers bullpen has been terrific for most of the season.
6. Tampa Bay Rays

The Rays have a top 10 team ERA and a very good bullpen. Their rotation has only gotten better as the season has progressed.
7. New York Mets

Until recently, the Mets had the best pitching staff in MLB, but they have struggled lately and they have fallen in the rankings.
8. San Diego Padres

Led by staff ace Michael King who should return from the IL soon, and closer Robert Suarez, the Padres are one of the best staffs in the league.
9. New York Yankees

Fried and Rodon have been amazing, the rest of the staff have let them down over the past few weeks and dropped them in the ranks.
10. Atlanta Braves

Chris Sale is injured, so things could get worse for the Braves, but they do have a top 10 team ERA. Their offense has been the issue for them this season.
