NFL: Super Bowl Matchups We Want To See

Unless it’s your favorite team, everyone always has differing opinions of who they want to see matched up in the Super Bowl every year. With the Wild Card round in the rearview mirror, we have eight remaining teams in the playoffs. Of those eight teams, of course, only two will make it to the Super Bowl, but even in terms of dream matchups, there are only five or six of them I care to see. What would your ideal matchup be? Let me know in the comments!

Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions

This seems to be one of, if not the most popular matchups. Both teams are looking for their first-ever Super Bowl victory, and the Lions are looking to get there for the first time. The Bills have an MVP frontrunner in Josh Allen, while the Lions have a star-studded offense that deserves to be seen on the biggest stage in sports.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Detroit Lions

This would be a battle of the top teams in each conference. The Chiefs, of course have won two in a row already and are looking to be the first team to ever win three in a row, while the Lions will look to win their first. These teams have seemingly been on a Super Bowl collision course since the season began.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Washington Commanders

While I do admire Washington for the season they have had, especially with a rookie QB, I really only care to see them in the Super Bowl if it’s against the Ravens. I think a matchup of Lamar and Jayden would be extremely exciting, considering they have such a similar playing style and are two of the most dynamic players and QBs in the league.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Detroit Lions

Lamar and Henry vs. Goff, Gibbs, and Amon Ra? Sign me up!! Basically, any of the top AFC teams against the Lions is a matchup I want to see. No team in the NFC is as exciting as the Lions are, and all 3 of the top AFC teams are exciting. The Chiefs aren’t as explosive as the Bills or Ravens, but they would be playing for history, and with that much on the line, it would be exciting.

Buffalo Bills vs. Philadelphia Eagles

If we can’t get the Lions or get the specific Commanders vs. Ravens matchup, then the Eagles are the NFC team I want to see in the Super Bowl. There is nothing overly specific about this matchup that I even like, but I prefer to see Buffalo over Kansas City and I do think this game would be very entertaining.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles

This would be a Super Bowl rematch from two years ago. Although there would be many stars in the game, and a rematch narrative is always interesting, personally, this matchup is not one I want to see because I get tired of seeing the same teams over and over again. The reason I included it is because I know many people would like to see it.
