NFL Playoffs: NFC Breakdown

The Eagles, Commanders, and Rams all won their WIld Card round playoff games over the weekend and are moving onto the Divisional Round this weekend. The Packers, Bucs, and Vikings all need to evaluate what went wrong for them in their playoff losses as they begin their offseasons.

1. Detroit Lions

They are well-rested from their bye week and will now host the Commanders, who won a huge road game against the Bucs on Sunday night. The Lions are the clear favorites to win the game, thanks to their elite offense, but their defense will certainly have their hands full with Jayden Daniels.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

They looked rusty and not in sync in the first half of their Wild Card round win over the Packers, but looked a lot better in the second half. Their defense was great all game long, forcing turnovers and putting pressure on Jordan Love, and they are the reason why they came away with the win.

4. Los Angeles Rams

They are going to have their hands full heading to Philly now to take on the Eagles, but this was a big win for them against the Vikings. They have the experience needed to make a deep playoff run.

6. Washington Commanders

What a massive win for the Commanders on Sunday night against the Bucs. Not only had they not won a playoff game since 2005, but Jayden Daniels became only the 4th rookie QB in NFL history to win a road playoff game. They now have to go into Detroit and beat the best team in the NFC. It seems unlikely, but anything is possible.
