NFL Playoffs: AFC Breakdown

The Texans, Ravens, and Bills all won their WIld Card round playoff games over the weekend and are moving onto the Divisional Round this weekend. The Chargers, Steelers, and Broncos all need to evaluate what went wrong for them in their playoff losses as they begin their offseasons.

1. Kansas City Chiefs

They rested their stars in week 18 and had the bye last week. They could come out of the gate a little rusty this weekend because of it, but overall, they have a favorable matchup against a Texans team that they could dominate.

2. Buffalo Bills

They made it look really easy against the Broncos on Sunday. They ran all over them, and Josh Allen made plays in the passing game when he needed to. He got all his playmakers involved, and the defense played a superb game. They allowed an opening drive TD by Nix and the Broncos and then dominated the rest of the way. Their matchup vs. the Ravens this weekend is must-watch football.

3. Baltimore Ravens

They dominated the Steelers on Saturday night and continue to play their best football of the season when it matters most. They head to Buffalo this weekend to take on the Bills, which could be the game of the year. It will be a game between Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson who by all accounts are the two front runners for MVP.

4. Houston Texans

Not many people gave them a chance to even advance past the Wild Card, and although they did it with a home win against a Chargers team that looked lost, I really don’t see how they stand a chance going into KC this weekend to face the Chiefs.
