Here are the top 10 teams in College Football heading into the weekend!
1. Oregon Ducks
Head Coach Dan Lanning has the Ducks playing at an extremely high level. Dillon Gabriel is having a Heisman-type season and RB Jordan James has over 1000 yards and 11 TD this season.
2. Ohio State Buckeyes
Saturday at noon will likely decide the champion between Ohio State and Indiana. Transfer QB Will Howard has been solid, but freshman WR Jeremiah Smith is showing that he can be the next great Buckeye receiver.
3. Texas Longhorns
They have a blemish from losing to Georgia, but the Longhorns should be able to win their last two games convincingly as they head to the playoffs.
4. Alabama Crimson Tide
QB Jalen Milroe has settled in to become one of the top quarterbacks in the country. The Tide needs to be able to stop the run better if they want to be national champion again.
5. Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia just beat Tennessee by 14, with Carson Beck throwing for 347 yards and 2 TDs. He’s going to need to continue that type of play if the Bulldogs want to make the semifinals.
6. Penn State Nittany Lions
Led by intense coach James Franklin, Penn State is arguably the deepest team in the Big 10. Can Drew Allar get the job done on the biggest stage?
7. Ole Miss Rebels
Would Ole Miss be undefeated if they were in any other conference in the country? The answer is likely yes. Tre Harris is the best wide receiver no one knows about.
8. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
QB Riley Leonard is fantastic when it comes to running the football, but he’s going to have to be more proficient in passing the ball if the Irish want to go far in the playoffs.
9. Tennessee Volunteers
Vols RB Dylan Sampson has 1230 rushing yards and a whopping 21 TDs. If he’s running well, Tennessee is going to be a very difficult team to beat.
10. Indiana Hoosiers
This is the best Hoosier team perhaps ever. QB Kurtis Rourke is going to have to continue to move the offense efficiently and keep the time of possession if IU wants to defeat OSU.
