This Weeks Record: 0-0

Last Weeks Record: 15-10-1

Past Eight Weeks Record: 81-59-7

Giancarlo Stanton MORE than 5.5 Fantasy Points

Stanton looks like he is beginning to heat up after missing nearly six weeks due to injury. He has a four-game hitting streak and at least one hit in six of his past seven games. The bigger sign that he is heating up is that he has back-to-back games with a HR and has collected six RBI in those two games. Tonight, he faces lefty  Ky Bush of the White Sox, who has only made one start this season, and he didn’t fair well. It came against the weak-hitting Oakland A’s, and Bush allowed five walks and three ER in just four innings of work.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. MORE than 6 Fantasy Points

I played Vlad yesterday and although he saw his 22-game hitting streak come to an end, I am going back to him tonight and thinking he is about to start another streak. During his awesome stretch, Vlad had 22 extra-base hits, including 10 HR. There is no hotter hitter in MLB, so until he has a stretch of three or four hitless games in a row, he is worth picking a prop on every day.

Ben Lively Less than 4.5 Strikeouts

His season numbers look good, but Lively hasn’t been pitching nearly as well lately. He is allowing more long balls and walking more hitters than he has at any point this season. His strikeout totals are also down. He has struck out four or fewer hitters in four of his past six starts and three of his past four. Lively is 22 innings past his career high in innings for any MLB season, so it’s possible that he is dealing with a tired arm and it’s leading to the bad results we have seen over his past handful of outings.

Yordan Alvarez MORE than 6 Fantasy Points

He is heating up! When he gets hot like this, few hitters in the league are more dangerous than Yordan. He has hit five HRs over his past five games and multiple hits in four of those five games. The Astros are in a very tight race in the AL West division, and they need to beat up on bad teams like the Rays. Expect for them to get clutch hitting from guys like Yordan and Altuve tonight.
