Every week, the No. 2 team that many think is the top dog loses. I have never made that mistake. Every week, that team that’s nipping at the heel of the Chiefs loses.
This week, it was the Baltimore Ravens losing to the lowly Cleveland Browns. Interestingly, if you recall, I was going back and forth last week as to who should be No. 2, the Ravens or the Lions. I ended up siding with the Ravens and their two losses over the Lions with their one loss…shame on me. I didn’t make that mistake this week…the Lions are the clear No. 2 behind the Chiefs. If that ends up being the Super Bowl, it will make for a heck of a game.
The Cowboys lost again and are out of the top 20. The Vikings lost again and have plummeted to no.10. The Patriots won and have clawed themselves out of the basement, replaced by Carolina.
