LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - OCTOBER 11: A WWE logo is shown on a screen before a WWE news conference at T-Mobile Arena on October 11, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was announced that WWE wrestler Braun Strowman will face heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and WWE champion Brock Lesnar will take on former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at the WWE's Crown Jewel event at Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31. Hello everybody, and welcome back to another week of the WWE’s Men’s Power Rankings. With Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend, we’ll definitely have some updates coming soon. As for now, the fight for Seth Rollins title has begun, but unlike his previous injury, this one could take him out for a while. That being said, let’s run through the wrestlers and get you caught up in some of the storylines. Also, remember to check out our “Through the Turnbuckles” podcast, as we cover topics in the world of wrestling. The show will be returning this week, so keep an eye out for that show. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.

1. Cody Rhodes:

Cody Rhodes came out on Friday Night Smackdown to cut a promo until he was interrupted by Drew McIntyre. Both superstars shared words, but then Jimmy Uso showed up to clear up the attack on Jacob Fatu. Going forward, you can expect this feud to heat up with Rhodes in the middle.

2. John Cena:

John Cena had an amazing match against A.J. Styles this past weekend at Crown Jewel. What many thought would be just another Cena match was wrong, as both he and Styles delivered a four-plus-star match, in my opinion. For now, Cena’s last match has been announced, but the opponent has not yet been named.

3. C.M. Punk:

C.M. Punk was on the commentary desk during the Battle Royal match to see who his opponent would be for the vacated Heavyweight Championship match this Saturday. After Jey won the match, Punk decided to indulge himself in a face-off with Jey.

4. Roman Reigns:

Roman Reigns lost to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel as a follow-up match to their Clash in Paris match. Of course, there was interference in this match that led to Jey Uso spearing Reigns through a table. With this feud heating up, you can only assume it’s going to get better when the OTC makes his return.

5. “Main Event” Jey Uso:

Jey Uso won the Battle Royale match on Monday Night RAW to determine who would be facing C.M. Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event for the vacated Heavyweight Championship. Jey won the match after throwing Jimmy Uso and L.A. Knight over the ropes to fuel their feud. YEET!

6. Bron Breakker:

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed keep causing problems, and it started on Monday Night RAW by attacking Seth Rollins. After taking Rollin’s championship, Breakker was ordered by RAW’s General Manager, Adam Pierce, to give back the belt, which he did reluctantly.

7. L.A. Knight:

L.A. Knight’s current storyline is tied in with Punk, Jimmy, and Jey at the moment. This helps Knight relevant, but I wouldn’t mind him breaking away from all of this nonsense and pursuing another championship. YEAH!

8. Ilja Dragunov:

Ilja Dragunov defended his title against Aleister Black this week as part of the open challenge for the U.S. Championship belt. Even though the match was full of amazing spots and high points for Black, it still wasn’t enough for him to win the belt this time.

9. Dominik Mysterio:

Dominik Mysterio defended his Intercontinental Championship against Rusev, who is a powerhouse. Regardless, Dirty Dom had a bell hammer in his boot that gave him the win in the end.

10. Jimmy Uso:

I contemplated who should complete this list this week, and I couldn’t pass up adding Jimmy Uso, who has been involved in multiple storylines, including the one with his brother, Jey. That being said, Jimmy has been worried about his brother’s descent into darkness, and after being thrown out by Jey in the Battle Royal, Jimmy has had a bad taste in his mouth. No YEET!
