Monday is here, and with a few of the wrestlers talking the week off last week, we’re back to grade how the other superstars did and to see if they could climb in the rankings due to no action. That means as we approach the Clash in Paris PPV on August 31st, we should start seeing things amp up as the WWE gets ready to give France another great event. That being said, let’s get to this week’s power rankings so we can catch up with some of the stories going on right now. Have a great day everyone and may the slams be with you.
Cody Rhodes: Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena in their Street Fight match on Sunday at Summerslam. Since then it’s been like friends reuniting because when Cena was jumped by Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre, Rhodes came to save the day.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins: Seth Rollins, the new World Heavyweight Champion, didn’t spare any time last week by starting off RAW, last week. He was interrupted by L.A. Knight shortly afterwards led to a championship match as the main event. Rollins won the match, but he’ll have his hands full this week with Punk’s return.
John Cena: John Cena is finally back to being himself and even made up with R-Truth in the process. As he looks forward to his future match with Brock Lesnar, he has some choice words for the Beast Incarnate, which should spark a face-to-face encounter soon enough. For now, he’ll face Logan Paul at the Clash in Paris.
C.M. Punk: C.M. Punk took last week off after being screwed once again by Rollins and his faction. Tonight in Quebec, Punk will be kicking off Monday Night RAW, which only means Rollins should show up at some point to spoil Punk’s soapbox moment.
Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns took the week off, but that’s fine since his return has sparked a lot of interest and questions. It’s clear that the OTC isn’t in the title picture ye,t but his alliance with Jey Uso could lead to something at the next PPV. However, it’s not warranted since Reigns is always a high-level attraction, no matter what he does.
“Main Event” Jey Uso: Jey Uso and Roman Reigns won their tag team match like I stated, but going forward, Jey will need his own path carved. With Reigns still connected to Paul Heyman, Jey can be there for backup, but I feel Reigns will be the one that Seth will have to deal with going forward. YEET!
Bron Breakker: Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed lost their war with the OTC and Mister Yeet at Summerslam this weekend. This doesn’t mean much for Bron and Reed since they’re practically bodyguards for Seth’s faction. You can expect more action from them tonight since Punk is back and ready to go to war with them.
Jacob Fatu: Jacob Fatu lost his match to Solo Sikoa at Summerslam, but that doesn’t mean he loses his spot. With an easy week for Fatu, he should be ready to take to the ring once again, as he focuses on his next goal. A WWE Championship.
Solo Sikoa: Solo Sikoa lost to Sami Zane last week in Sami’s hometown. Even though it was four on one, Zane still overcame the odds and showed us that no matter what, he is still a superstar in this organization. This could be setting up another match at Survivor Series between Solo’s Bloodline and the original Bloodline.
L.A. Knight: L.A. Knight may have had Summerslam off, but to get a shot at the title last week on RAW was worth it. Knight ended up losing to Rollins in the end, but he still looked strong in the process. Let’s see if he can rebound this week or maybe find a new feud to tie him over till the Royal Rumble.
