Top 10 WWE Men’s Power Rankings Tuesday, July 29th

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - OCTOBER 11: A WWE logo is shown on a screen before a WWE news conference at T-Mobile Arena on October 11, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was announced that WWE wrestler Braun Strowman will face heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and WWE champion Brock Lesnar will take on former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at the WWE's Crown Jewel event at Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31. With Summerslam this Saturday and Sunday, the WWE is about to amp up its product and make this week exciting. That means we can expect some fireworks before the summer’s biggest party this weekend. I also want to say a prayer for Hulk Hogan, who passed away last week. Growing up, he was an American icon that transcended weakling, making it a global phenomenon. Thank you, Hulk. That being said, let’s get to this week’s power rankings so we can catch up with some of the stories going on right now. Have a great da,y everyone and may the slams be with you.

John Cena: John Cena will be facing Cody Rhodes at Summerslam on August 2nd for the WWE Championship. Look for either a face-off or a contract signing this week, leading to another table sacrificed for the business.

Cody Rhodes: Cody Rhodes has an easy week as well, which led to some podcasting time for him. This week will be big as Rhodes and Cena get ready to put a stamp on their match at Summerslam.

“Main Event” Jey Uso: Jey Uso finally had a chance to catch up with his cousin, Roman Reigns, last week. Like I predicted, Jey and Roman will soon be joining forces to help reestablish their Bloodline. This doesn’t mean they’ll be taking over the WWE like before, but this hit-and-run version of the Bloodline will help both of their stories going forward.

C.M. Punk: C.M. Punk won the Gauntlet match on RAW two weeks ago to solidify his championship match with Gunther at Summerslam. After their in-ring promo last week, I can’t wait for Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship this Saturday.

Bron Breakker: Bron Breakker finally had a chance to shine as Reigns, and he went face-to-face for one of the first times. After shooting a promo, both wrestlers know what the future holds, and I know we can’t wait to see this go down either.

Gunther: Gunther started to do a promo, which was interrupted by C.M. Punk, soon after. After a few words and some sly digs, both wrestlers went their way, leading up to their match this Saturday at Summerslam.

L.A. Knight: L.A. Knight lost to Bron Breakker in the Gauntlet match between them on RAW last week. Since then, Knight has had a little break before this week, which should set up his match for Summerslam. YEAH!

Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns confronted Paul Heyman and his faction, in which Heyman tried to turn it into a job interview. He even called the OTC his Tribal Chief, which made Reigns laugh. Afterwards, he went face-to-face with Bron Breakker, setting up Reign’s next big opponent.

Jacob Fatu: Jacob Fatu was shooting a promo when the Miz showed up and interrupted his thoughts. This led to a match with Fatu eventually, but not without some antics by Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline. However, Jimmy Uso showed up with a chair to even the odds.

Solo Sikoa: Making his way back to the top 10 is Solo Sikoa. A lot of people may disagree with this but with how powerful his Bloodline is becoming and being the U.S. Champ, it only let’s us know that this is the right addition to the list. I do think he loses this week at Summerslam but if he doesn’t, he’ll be back next week.
