At RT Sports, there is an amazing daily fantasy pick’em game where you can choose different props for a chance to win money! Pick at least two props, select “more” or “less” on each prop, submit the picks, and you’re good to go! Below, you will find my favorite props/picks for today/tonight’s slate of games. You can choose just two props or choose them all and make it into one big parlay!
This Weeks Record: 3-1
Last Weeks Record: 15-10-1
Past Eight Weeks Record: 81-59-7
Shohei Ohtani MORE than 5.5 Fantasy Points
Ohtani has struggled over the past week, batting just .120. He has had two HRs, three runs, four RBIs, and one SB during that time, though, and is still the clear frontrunner for NL MVP. He also appears to be coming out of his mini-slump, considering that he has three XBH, including two HR in his past four games. His prop is usually at 9 or 9.5 fantasy points when he isn’t slumping, so this feels like a real bargain tonight.
Juan Soto MORE than 6.5 Fantasy Points
Soto is a beast at the plate. That should come as no surprise to anyone who follows baseball on even a semi-regular basis. He is batting .302 this season with a .431 OBP, 97 runs, 30 HR and 82 RBI. It is a very rare night when Soto doesn’t produce at the plate because even if he doesn’t get any hits, he walks more than any other hitter in MLB besides his teammate Aaron Judge. Last night is a perfect example, Soto went hitless, but he walked three times and put up nine fantasy points. That was without a hit, as I mentioned, but also without a run scored or an RBI. It has been nearly two months since Soto has gone hitless in back-to-back games, so he is likely to get at least one tonight, and that should lead to a run scored and very possibly an RBI or multiple RBI as well.
Tarik Skubal MORE than 7 Strikeouts
There is no pitcher better than Skubal in the American League right now. He is amazing all the time, but at home in Detroit, he is even better when it comes to his ERA and WHIP. Tonight, he faces an inconsistent Mariners lineup that is prone to swing-and-miss and struggles against top-flight arms like Skubal. Skubal has struck out seven or more batters in eight of his past nine starts and eight or more batters in five of his past six starts.
Yordan Alvarez MORE than 7.5 Fantasy Points
I can’t seem to quit Yordan. This is the third straight day that I am picking his fantasy points prop. He is heating up! When he gets hot like this, few hitters in the league are more dangerous than Yordan. He has hit five HRs over his past six games and multiple hits in five of those six games. The Astros are in a very tight race in the AL West division, and they need to beat up on bad teams like the Rays. Expect for them to get clutch hitting from guys like Yordan and Altuve tonight.
