At RTSports, there is an amazing daily fantasy pick’em game where you can choose different props for a chance to win money! Pick at least two props, select “more” or “less” on each prop, submit the picks, and you’re good to go! Below, you will find my favorite props/picks for today/tonight’s slate of games.
Logan Gilbert LESS than 5.5 Strikeouts
Gilbert hasn’t pitched well lately, and his strikeout numbers reflect that. He has recorded four or fewer strikeouts in three of his past four outings despite going six-plus innings in three of the four starts. His matchup tonight against the Astros is a tough one, although it is worth noting that the last time he faced them, he went eight shutout innings with six strikeouts. Again, based on how he’s pitched recently, he isn’t going that deep into the game, and the Astros have been much better as of late.
Anthony Volpe MORE than 0.5 Runs
Volpe is riding a 21-game hitting streak, the longest by a Yankee since 2012. Batting in the leadoff spot and consistently getting on base is a recipe for success when it comes to scoring runs, so that’s why I like Volpe here tonight. He and the Yankees have a good matchup against Patrick Sandoval and the Angels.
Bobby Witt Jr. MORE than 1.5 Total Bases
He is having an MVP caliber season and the Royals are playing great baseball because of it. Witt Jr. has multiple hits in three of his past four games and five of his past eight games. Even when he doesn’t get multiple hits in a game, he can surpass the 1.5 total bases number because of his ability to get XBH. He can stretch a single into a double or a double into a triple thanks to his elite speed.
