1. Duke —  Won the second half against Wake Forest and NC State.

2. Louisville — Dispatched two teams who could have taken their place in these rankings in the last week.

3. Clemson — Could Del Jones provide a piece off the bench that this team so desperately needs?

4. SMU — The frontcourt looked outstanding against NC State.

5. Wake Forest — Missed two opportunities to really move the needle against Duke and Louisville.

6. Pittsburgh — Only played 7 guys in a big win over North Carolina.

7. North Carolina — In a tailspin at the moment, losing 3 of their last 4.

8. Stanford — I wouldn’t want to be matched up with this team in the ACC Tournament.

9. Cal — Winning games without their best player.

10. Notre Dame — Welcome to the Markus Burton show.

11. Virginia Tech — Best win of the season over Florida State.

12. Syracuse — Donnie Freeman would make this team a lot more dynamic.

13. NC State — Hung tough against SMU and Duke but couldn’t pull it out.

14. Florida State — Disappointing performance against Virginia Tech.

15. Georgia Tech — It’s honestly impressive they have been competitive with all the injuries they have been dealing with.

16. Virginia — Looked great against Miami, but it was Miami.

17. Boston College — Took North Carolina to overtime but failed to pull it out.

18. Miami — Throw in the towel.
