The first eight weeks of the NFL season have been full of parody and wild headlines. With the trade deadline coming up in a week, I expect the trade deadline to follow the same trend this season has had so far. Today I am going to give y’all five players I expect to see on SportsCenter this upcoming NFL trade deadline.

Trey Hendrickson, Bengals DE

Trey has been one of the best defensive edge rushers in the NFL. Over the past two seasons, he has had contract issues with the Bengals. On top of that, the Bengals have been pretty bad the past couple of seasons. Also, he is only on a one-year deal and likely will leave in the offseason. It is best to trade him to a team like the Colts for a younger edge rusher or a high draft pick.

Breece Hall, Jets RB

Hall has been on the Jets his whole NFL career, and he has been one of the few bright spots on the team. For the past two seasons, he has had 800-plus rushing yards and has been widely regarded as one of the better running backs in the NFL. Despite that, he has grown tired of wasting his career on the Jets and has expressed his displeasure with the lack of team success. This is Hall’s last year on his contract with the Jets, and all the signs are pointing to him walking in free agency. So it is a good chance that they will trade him to a team like the Chargers or the Chiefs.

De’Von Achane, Dolphins RB

Achane has been one of the only bright spots in Miami this season. With this disaster of a season, the Dolphins are having. He has had a great start to his career and has a lot of trade value. Devon ran for 800-plus rushing yards in his first two seasons, and it looks like he is on pace to do it again this season. With all that elite production, the Dolphins will want to get as much from him as they can. Teams like the Chargers and Chiefs will be very interested in him.

Chris Olave, Saints WR

Olave had a really good start to his career with having back to back 1,000 receiving yard seasons in 2022 and 2023. Last year, he missed most of the season due to injury. This year he has played pretty good through the first half of the season, but the Saints have been really bad this season. With the quarterback room being a disaster this season, the Saints may look to shop Olave for some draft picks from teams like the Steelers or Patriots.

Jakobi Meyers, Raiders WR

Meyers is a 28-year-old receiver who had a great season last year with the Raiders. He had 1,000 receiving yards last year, but he has grown tired of being a part of the Raiders Organization and has requested a trade. With Meyers being a veteran, I could see him being traded to a team like the Bills, Steelers, or Patriots.
