These are the 10 best lineups in MLB entering play on Thursday:

1. Chicago Cubs

The Cubs have scored the most runs in MLB and have been consistent all year.

2. New York Yankees

The Yankees are towards the top of the league in HR, runs, and have two of the top batting average leaders.

3. Los Angeles Dodgers

You can make an argument for the fact that this lineup hasn’t even clicked yet, and they are still one of the top-scoring teams.

4. Detroit Tigers

Detroit Tigers right fielder Kerry Carpenter (30) bats against Chicago White Sox during the eighth inning at Comerica Park in Detroit on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Guys like Kerry Carpenter and Spencer Torkelson have taken the next step. Riley Greene is great, and Gleyber Torres is fitting in nicely.

5. Boston Red Sox

They are already great, and they have top prospects in the minors who are ready to contribute.

6. Philadelphia Phillies

They are one of the most feared lineups in the league.

7. Arizona Diamondbacks

They have picked up from where they left off a year ago as one of baseball’s best lineups.

8. St. Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals are one of the hottest teams in baseball and have moved into the top 10 in runs scored, and are a top 3 teams in batting average.

9. Seattle Mariners

They have hit a lot of HR, mostly thanks to their power-hitting catcher. They struggle to score runs at home, though.

10. New York Mets

The Mets lineup is underrated and will only get better when both Lindor and Soto catch fire.
