These are the top 10 wrestlers right now:
John Cena:

John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes last night at WrestleMania, winning his 17th championship for the WWE. No matter how people feel, I feel this was a very WWE move to discredit Flair’s title reign. We can’t argue that Cena hasn’t been a vital part of the WWE for the past two decades, and in many ways, deserves this honor. Going forward, we all know there will be a rematch, but will it happen at Backlash or will they wait till Summerslam? Only time will tell, and that starts tonight on RAW.
Cody Rhodes:

Cody Rhodes drops in the rankings after losing his title to Cena with the help of Travis Scott. I see no reason to penalize Cody too much this week, since he was distracted with Scott’s antics during the match. I will say that tonight’s RAW is going to be nuts, and you can expect Cody to show up and run his mouth about what happened. I could be wrong about this, but I feel like their rematch happens at Summerslam. That would allow a long build towards Cody winning back his title but remember, Money in the Bank happens before that, which could change everything depending on who wins the briefcase.
“Main Event” Jey Uso:

Jey Uso finally defeated Gunther, winning the World Heavyweight Championship on Saturday’s opening match for WrestleMania. Now that Jey is champ, you can bet that Gunther wants a rematch, but I could see them giving the ex-champ some time off, while the WWE prepares for summer. For now, we can all keep chanting “YEET” as we await Jey’s promo, which we should get tonight on RAW.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins:

Seth Rollins showed why he is a visionary by fooling most people but me. I nailed the finish of this match, and what made me feel that Seth would win is because of the way he kept instigating Roman and Punk. It was clear that Paul Heyman didn’t want to be between both Roman and Punk, which opened the door for Rollins and his plan. Now that Seth has Heyman in his corner, you can bet he’ll be looking for a shot at the champion, and you can bet he’ll be gunning for Jey Uso.
C.M. Punk:

C.M. Punk thought that his favor from Paul Heyman would pay of,f but what happened was someone else had a favor as well. Punk was amazing during the main event on Saturday night, and it all culminated when Heyman gave Punk the chair, and not Roman. That was all fun and games until Heyman tuned on Punk by giving him a low blow, making us think that Roman was his true choice. You can bet that Punk will have something to say to his ex-friend but it isn’t like Heyman hasn’t done this before.
Roman Reigns:

Roman Reigns stays at the fifth spot despite losing at WrestleMania. Roman is like Teflon and doesn’t need a title to make him relevant, but where does he go now? He doesn’t need a wiseman or a Bloodline to help him figure out what’s nex,t but Roman will need a direction going forward. That could either be another shot at a title or maybe reuniting the Bloodline as he looks to take over the WWE once again.
LA Knight:

LA Knight lost straight up to Jacob Fatu this weekend at WrestleMania. Many thought, including myself, that Solo Sikoa or anyone else in the new Bloodline would show up, but that wasn’t the case. Fatu took everything Knight threw at him and in the end he gave him multiple splashes to win his first singles championship in the WWE. As for Knight, he proved he can be a star with or without a belt, so I can’t wait to see what they have lined up for the mega superstar in the future.
Bron Breakker:

Bron Breakker joins the crew of champions who lost their titles this week, but he was also in a Fatal Four-way match. It’s clear that the WWE has huge plans for this rising star, which could spell doom for Jey Uso, if they match them up in the future. Right now, I can see a rematch in the future at Backlash, but I feel Bron is a perfect candidate for the Money in the Bank match. That would give him a chance at the world championships, at any given moment. That’s something all champions should be worried about, if it happens.
Randy Orton:

Randy Orton went into Sunday with no opponent for WrestleMania. That quickly changed as Joe Hendry’s music hit, giving Randy what he wanted. Even though this was a mismatch, Hendry made us all laugh every time he posed for a smile. However, he wasn’t smiling too long as he went to smile one last time before he was hit with an RKO out of nowhere, which led to Orton winning the match. With Randy as the poster child for Backlash, you can bet he’ll either have a match with Owens then or someone else since Owens injury seems to be legit.
Gunther:

Gunther slips all the way to the 10th spot after losing to Jey Uso on Saturday. I would think that after Gunther’s long reign as the Intercontinental Champion and his run as the World Heavyweight Champion, he might have earned some time off before summer. I feel that this is the direction the WWE goes in, which will help them figure out what they want to do with Bron or Seth. I could be wrong, but if I am, then a rematch at Backlash will be on the menu for Gunther next month.
