These are the top 10 lineups in baseball as we head into the 2025 regular season:

Although they play in a tough division, this team still has plenty of star talent that can keep them competitive.
9. Texas Rangers

They added Jake Burger and Joc Pederson to a lineup that is already stacked from top to bottom.
8. Atlanta Braves

A bounce back from Olson and Acuna returning to full strength could make this one of the top lineups in the league.
7. New York Yankees

Losing Soto to the Mets and Stanton being hurt bumps them back a bit, but this is still one of the better lineups in baseball, thanks to the AL MVP, Aaron Judge.
6. Arizona Diamondbacks

They were already an elite lineup, and this offseason, they made a huge trade for Josh Naylor, who is set to have his best season to date. A full season from Carroll (healthy) is going to make a big difference, too.
5. Baltimore Orioles
BALTIMORE, MD – AUGUST 04: Adley Rutschman #35 of the Baltimore Orioles gets a lead-off hit in the first inning during a baseball game against the New York Mets at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on August 4, 2023 in Baltimore, Maryland. (Photo by Mitchell Layton/Getty Images)
This is a very young and talented lineup that has the potential to be the best lineup in the American League.
4. New York Mets
NEW YORK, NEW YORK – DECEMBER 12: Juan Soto of the New York Mets poses with his new uniform after his introductory press conference at Citi Field on December 12, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images)
Adding Soto to a lineup that went to the NL Championship Series last year is HUGE.
3. Boston Red Sox
BOSTON, MA – OCTOBER 3: Rafael Devers #11 of the Boston Red Sox follows through on the go ahead RBI sacrifice fly during the seventh inning against the Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway Park on October 3, 2022 in Boston, Massachusetts. (Photo By Winslow Townson/Getty Images)
Already excellent, but they added Bregman, Story is healthy and they have elite prospects who are big league ready.
2. Philadelphia Phillies
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA – AUGUST 22: Bryce Harper #3 of the Philadelphia Phillies is congratulated by Kyle Schwarber #12 of the Philadelphia Phillies after hitting a two-run home run against the San Francisco Giants during the first inning of a game at Citizens Bank Park on August 22, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. LOADED with star power at multiple positions.
