25. Kyrie Irving

Wrecked Cleveland, Boston, and Brooklyn and has never averaged more than seven assists in a season.

One of the great all-time dunkers but had no game to speak of.

23. John Starks

Averaged 12.5 points in his career and benefitted from playing in New York.

22. Ben Simmons

More known for quitting and passing up shots than anything at this point.

Shortest man to ever win the dunk contest, but the rest of his game was lacking.

People expected him to be the next Wilt or Kareem; he couldn’t get along with Olajuwon.

19. DeMarcus Cousins

One of the worst attitudes in the game. It got so bad no team would roster him.

The Human Highlight Film never made it to an Eastern Conference Finals.

17. Chris Paul

Just 1 NBA final in 18 seasons feels incredibly overrated.

16. Russell Westbrook

He’s super athletic, but way too many turnovers and way too many bricks.

15. Derrick Rose

Feels harsh since injuries derailed his career, but arguably the worst winner of the MVP award.

14. Dwight Howard

An elite score, but his career is filled with more “What Ifs” than almost anyone

12. Robert Horry

“Big Shot Bob” has seven NBA rings but only averaged seven points a game in his career.

11. James Harden

No defense, no championships, and one of the worst teammates in the league.

10. Penny Hardaway

In 14 seasons, he missed almost 500 games. Never did anything post-Shaq.

Great leader and MVP winner who never played defense or won a title.

8. Blake Griffin

Amazing dunker who had zero versatility to his game.

7. Jason Williams

“White Chocolate” was a flashy player who never averaged over eight assists in any season.

4. Yao Ming

Global Icon, who only played 486 games in eight years.

3. Allen Iverson

Brought a culture change to the NBA, but his lack of practice led him to a 42.5% career shooting percentage.

2. Carmelo Anthony

At one time was voted the “Most Reviled Athlete in the NBA”. Had his own Starbury shoe brand and finally found a place he could fit in—the China Basketball league.
