Top MLB Prop Picks 4/26
Gunnar Henderson MORE Than 1.5 Total Bases
Henderson is having an amazing start to the season and is in the early MVP conversation. He has 30 hits in 24 games this season, with 14 of those hits being for extra bases. If he gets one extra-base hit tonight, then he will win us this prop. He also has nine multi-hit games this season, so he doesn’t need the extra-base hit to help us win. He is in an excellent matchup vs. Ross Stripling and the A’s, bats leadoff for the Orioles, and should see five or more at-bats tonight.
Trevor Williams MORE Than 3.5 Strikeouts
The Marlins are a bottom-three offense in all the major statistical categories. So not only is Williams a good option in Seasonal fantasy and DFS tonight, but he should have no problem going deep enough into the outing to record four or more strikeouts. He has four or more strikeouts in three of his four starts this season and has gone at least five innings in every start this season. The last time he had a matchup this good, it was against the A’s on April 14th, and he recorded a season-high seven punch outs.
Freddie Freeman MORE Than 0.5 Runs
Freeman has scored an average of 123 runs over the last three seasons, which is an incredibly high number. If you have been following my articles/picks all season long, then you know that anytime I can pick this prop, I will do it. Freeman hasn’t scored a run since April 21st, which is a long time for him to go without one. He is due for one tonight and I will keep going back to the well because it’s a good bet.
Zach Eflin MORE Than 5 Strikeouts
Eflin has a great matchup tonight against the White Sox, who rank last in MLB in AVG, OBP, SLG and HRs. They also strike out often, and Eflin has five or more strikeouts in all five of his starts this season. This pick is based on stats and matchup, which are both in his favor.
Juan Soto MORE Than 5.5 Fantasy Points
Soto is seemingly contributing something every night in fantasy. Even if he doesn’t get hits or drive in runs, he is working walks which leads to runs scored and filling up the stat sheet. He is batting .316 this season with an incredible .430 OBP and has a pretty solid matchup tonight against RHP Colin Rea of the Brewers.
