Top MLB Prop Picks 4/10
Jordan Hicks MORE Than 5 Strikeouts
Hicks has gotten off to a terrific start to his Giants career. The Giants decided to convert him back into a SP and so far the results have been excellent. He has 11 Ks in his first two starts, allowing just one ER and one walk. In his final Spring Training outing, Hicks struck out 10 hitters, which gives him 21 total Ks in his past 17 innings and puts him in a good spot tonight to get five or more against a young Nationals lineup.
Ozzie Albies MORE Than 0.5 Runs
Albies hits second in a very deep and talented Braves lineup, giving him plenty of run scoring opportunities. Austin Riley, Matt Olson, Marcell Ozuna, and Michael Harris II are all big run producers, so Albies’ job is just to get on base. He faces a LHP today, and traditionally, Albies excels against southpaws. Not only does he hit for an elite batting average and OBP, but he also has legit power to drive himself in too. Anytime Albies is facing a LHP and you can bet OVER on 0.5 runs, you should do it.
Kutter Crawford MORE Than 5 Strikeouts
The matchup vs. the Orioles is definitely a tough one, the toughest that Kutter has had so far this season. Even if the Orioles put up runs though, Crawford has shown the ability to consistently get swings and misses, recording at least five strikeouts in each of his past four outings. In his longest outing of the year, he went six innings and stuck out seven; if he can even go five innings tonight, there’s a very strong chance that he will end up with five or more Ks.
Freddie Freeman MORE Than 0.5 Runs
Freeman is towards the top of the league every year in runs scored, and this season will be no different. I have mentioned in the past that anytime you can find this prop, it’s worth betting on. Over the past three seasons, Freeman has averaged 122 runs in 160 games. Today he is facing a pitcher who struggled in his first start of the season and is still trying to work his way back after missing a lot of time due to injuries over the past couple of seasons, so he should add to that total.
