Top 10 WWE Men’s Power Rankings Monday, October 13th

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - OCTOBER 11: A WWE logo is shown on a screen before a WWE news conference at T-Mobile Arena on October 11, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was announced that WWE wrestler Braun Strowman will face heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and WWE champion Brock Lesnar will take on former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at the WWE's Crown Jewel event at Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31. Hello everybody, and welcome back to another week of the WWE’s Men’s Power Rankings. Crown Jewel was a blast, other than its early start in the States. Regardless, the action was hot and the superstars performed superbly. That being said, let’s run through the wrestlers and get you caught up in some of the storylines. Also, remember to check out our “Through the Turnbuckles” podcast, as we cover topics in the world of wrestling. The show will be returning this week, so keep an eye out for that show. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.

Cody Rhodes: Cody Rhodes lost to Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel, thus making Rollins the Crown Jewel champion. Going forward, you can count on Rhodes getting back on track with his next feud, which we will find out this week.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins: Seth Rollins defeated Cody Rhodes to win this year’s Crown Jewel Championship. On top of the cool ring that comes with it, Rollins and Rhodes wrestled an amazing match, which we’ll most likely hear on Monday Night.

John Cena: John Cena had an amazing match against A.J. Styles this past weekend at Crown Jewel. What many thought would be just another Cena match was wrong, as both he and Styles delivered a four-plus-star match, in my opinion. The only question is, does Dave Meltzer agree with me and the fans? Only time will tell.

C.M. Punk: C.M. Punk and L.A. Knight defeated the Usos last week, who have been a thorn in both of their sides recently. Tonight we should see some shenanigans, but ultimately I could see a Smackdown vs. RAW match at Survivor Series, including Punk and Knight on team RAW.

Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns lost to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel as a follow-up match to their Clash in Paris match. Of course, there was interference in this match that led to Jey Uso spearing Reigns through a table. With this feud heating up, you can only assume it’s going to get better this week.

“Main Event” Jey Uso: Jey Uso is being groomed by Reigns to be the next Tribal Chief right now. This had led to some bad decisions on Jey’s end that had made Jimmy Uso very worried. Jimmy will always back his brother, but he clearly doesn’t want any part of this path Jey is on. No YEET!

Bron Breakker: Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed keep causing problems, but with Reed defeating Reigns at Crown Jewel, you can bet they’re going to run their mouths. However, there’s something brewing with Paul Heyman that both of them look uncomfortable with.

L.A. Knight: L.A. Knight won his tag team match against the Usos with Punk last week. Of course, he was also interrupted by Punk in RAW while giving an interview, which only furthers my opinion that these two are locked at the hip right now. YEAH!

Sami Zayn: Sami Zayn defended his U.S. Championship against a returning Shinsuke Nakamura on Friday Night SmackDown, last week. Zane retained his belt even though he lost by disqualification when Tama Tonga showed up to attack Nakamura. These U.S. Title matches have been exciting to say the least, and now that we’re getting stories worked in, it can only get better.

Brock Lesnar: Brock Lesnar defeated John Cena in the opening match at Wrestlepalooza on Saturday. Since then, he’s been on another hiatus, which I thought about removing him this week, but with Saturday Night’s Main evermore and Survivor Series coming up, you know the Beast Incarnate will be lurking for his next victim.
