In the NFL, the 10,000-yard mark is an important figure. Of the 32 NFL teams, 24 of their top receivers have eclipsed that number. The number of rushers who have eclipsed 10,000 yards is far lower. Only 14 teams’ top rushers have gained over 10,000 in their careers. And only nine of them retired in the 21st century.
