They are allowing the least amount of goals against per game while scoring the 3rd most goals per game.
3. Vegas Golden Knights

The Golden Knights are still scoring the 4th most goals per game in the NHL but have been slipping defensively of late.
4. Edmonton Oilers

They had an amazing January and are one of the hottest teams in the NHL, if not the hottest.
5. Carolina Hurricanes

They have the 5th most goals per game in the NHL and are one of the top teams in the East.
6. Dallas Stars

The Stars were incredible in January and are allowing the 3rd least goals against per game while scoring the 10th most goals per game on the season.
7. Tampa Bay Lightning
They are still scoring the most goals per game in the NHL and allowing the 10th least goals against per game.
8. New Jersey Devils
