Hello everybody, and welcome back to another week of the WWE’s Men’s Power Rankings. With the Road to Wrestlemania in front of us now, the WWE has kicked into high gear. With Seth Rollins not fully cleared and wrestling yet, he stays off this list. However, I do have a new face on this list, which shouldn’t be a surprise. For now, let’s run through the list and get you caught up on some of the most recent storylines. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.
10. Logan Paul:
“The Maverick” Logan Paul has had a lot to deal with now that Seth Rollins is back and ready to get some revenge. That could start tonight, since the Vision will be taking on the Usos, who have been teasing many of their plans over the past few weeks.
9. L.A. Knight:
L.A. Knight came out to save Rollins last night once the Vision showed up to get their revenge on Rollins. However, since Rollins departure, Knight has had his hands full with the Vision, from promos to matches. Look for that to continue as Knight is writing his story, which includes another Wrestlemania match, in his future. YEAH!
8. Carmelo Hayes:
Carmelo Hayes was back to defending his U.S. Championship this week, and this time, Ilja Dragunov decided to answer the challenge again. However, after winning the match, there were rumors that Hayes sustained an injury. We’ll keep our eyes on this as the story develops.
7. Oba Femi:
Making his debut on my Top 10 list this week is Oba Femi. The former NXT Champion finally got over the hump and should be on his way to Wrestlemania after silencing Brock Lesnar. In what looks to be a match between King Kong and Godzilla, you can expect this match to start the rise of Femi on the main roster.
6. Penta:
Penta remains at the sixth spot since he successfully defended his title against Dragon Lee last week on RAW. This was achieved during a well-wrestled match that saw more aerial moves than a Jeff Hardy match. From corkscrews to the Mexican Destroyer, this match was a bright spot for RAW.
5. “Main Event” Jey Uso:
Jey and Jimmy Uso will be back on RAW tonight to take on Austin Theory and Logan Paul in a tag team match. After weeks of their antics, it’s great to have the Usos back on prime time T.V., doing their thing. For now, Jey remains at fifth on this list. YEET!
4. Roman Reigns:
Roman Reigns made his return to RAW to have another promo with C.M. Punk last week. Punk taunts his mouth and lets Reigns know that he’s going to dominate him in their Wrestlemania match. When Reigns thought he had heard enough, he decided to leave, but Punk stopped him from doing so. This led to Reigns calling Punk old, which led to Punk slapping Reigns across the face.
3. Randy Orton:
Randy Orton remains at the third spot this week after telling everyone why he turned on Cody Rhodes on Friday Night SmackDown. His reply was simple, and Orton said that he was just giving Rhodes what he asked for, the Viper. In doing so, Rhodes may have opened himself up to an RKO out of nowhere, now that the snake is out of the bag.
2. C.M. Punk:
C.M. Punk had another epic promo with Roman Reigns last week on RAW. That led to another attack from Punk, who had continuously put his hands on the Tribal Chief. For me, this seems like it’s not going to end well for Punk. It’s like he’s taken over the heel role completely, which has led to some sympathy from the fans, on Reigns’ side.
1. Cody Rhodes:
Cody Rhodes is the number one, pound-for-pound, wrestler in the world, and whether you love or hate it, I’m right. Rhodes’ popularity is riding at an all-time high, and with his match with Randy Orton only weeks away, you can bet they’ll love him even more. Right now, Rhodes is being victimized by the Viper for opening up that can of worms; however, I do see Rhodes winning in the end, at Wrestlemania.
