Top RT Sports MLB Pick’Em Plays 6/17: Shohei Ohtani, Christopher Sanchez, Braxton Garrett

Lou gives his favorite MLB props for tonight at RT Sports!

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - MARCH 20: Shohei Ohtani #17 of the Los Angeles Dodgers hits a single in the 3rd inning during the 2024 Seoul Series game between Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres at Gocheok Sky Dome on March 20, 2024 in Seoul, South Korea. (Photo by Chung Sung-Jun/Getty Images)

At RTSports, there is an amazing daily fantasy pick’em game where you can choose different props for a chance to win money! Pick at least two props, select “more” or “less” on each prop, submit the picks, and you’re good to go! Below, you will find my favorite props/picks for today/tonight’s slate of games.

Shohei Ohtani MORE than 9 Fantasy Points

Ohtani is one of the best hitters in the National League this season, and tonight, he and the Dodgers are in Coors Field to take on the Rockies. Not only is Coors the best place in baseball to hit, but the Rockies’ pitching staff is one of the worst as well. This is a great matchup.

Christopher Sanchez LESS than 4 Strikeouts

Sanchez is having a great season and has proven to be a reliable pitcher for the Phillies. However, his strikeout numbers aren’t impressive at all, and even more so lately. Sanchez has three or fewer strikeouts in three of his past four starts, and his matchup tonight is against a pretty steady Padres team.

Braxton Garrett LESS than 4.5 Strikeouts

Garrett hasn’t struck out more than four batters in a start in his past three outings. He. has also given up nine ER in his past two outings and hasn’t been getting deep into games because of it. If he continues to struggle, he won’t go deep enough in tonight’s game either and won’t rack up enough K’s.

Jon Gray LESS than 5 Strikeouts

I’m sure by now you’re noticing a pattern. I am interested in SP tonight, who I don’t think can reach their strikeout goal. Gray has been excellent this season when healthy, but he failed to strike out more than four hitters in a game in his two starts prior to going on the IL and has done the same in his two starts since returning from the IL. I am looking for that trend to continue here.
