The Holiday Season is upon us, and I will make this week’s list as Thankful as possible. Surely, every team has something to be Thankful for. And, with Thanksgiving in mind, we all have a million things going on, so this list will be short and sweet.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone…Here are Week 13’s Rankings:
Worst of the worst:
32. New York Giants: The Giants are thankful that this season is well over halfway over, and entering its last month.
31. Tennessee Titans: Still, the last team with only one win, the Titans are thankful they are still in line for the No. 1 pick of the 2026 draft.
30. Las Vegas Raiders: The Raiders must still be thankful that they have the best TE in the league, Brock Bowers, and one of the best defensive players, Maxx Crosby.
29. New York Jets: With their moves at the trade deadline, the Jets should be thankful for their five first-round picks in the next two drafts.
28. Cleveland Browns: The Browns have to be thankful they may have found their QB. It took five rounds, but maybe Shaddeur Sanders will turn out to be the guy for the Browns.
27. New Orleans Saints: The Saints should be thankful that they play in the NFC South. At 2-9, they still aren’t officially out of the playoffs, and they will have a very high pick at the draft.
Things haven’t gone their way:
26. Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals are thankful that they have one of the best QBs in the league. Now, they just have to ask Santa for an offensive line to protect him.
25. Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals have to be thankful that they at least play in one of the most beautiful areas of the country.
24. Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons, like the Saints, are thankful they play in the NFC South. They also have one of the best RBs in the game, Bijan Robinson.
23. Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings are thankful they have one of the best young HC’s in the league, Kevin O’Connell, who should be able to turn this subpar season around in 2026.
22. Washington Commanders: The Commanders are thankful they are coming off an NFC Championship season, with one of the most dynamic young QBs in the league.
21. Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins are thankful to have South Beach.
Could still surprise:
20. Carolina Panthers: Like their NFC South Brethren, the Panthers are thankful to be .500 at 6-6, and still be in the mix for the division title.
19. Pittsburgh Steelers: The Steelers should be thankful to have such stability at head coach. They’ve literally only had three head coaches in like 100 years, Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher, and Mike Tomlin…(actually 66 years). And Tomlin always has his teams above .500…they are currently 6-5, and in the mix for the AFC North title.
18. Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are thankful for coming back from a 21-point deficit against the defending Super Bowl Champions, getting them closer to the playoff hunt.
17. Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs are thankful for their own comeback win this past week. Travis Kelce is certainly thankful for Taylor Swift…and Andy Reid is thankful for the food he’s going to eat on Thursday.
16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Buccaneers are thankful that Baker Mayfield’s injury doesn’t look serious, and he could be back this upcoming week against the Cardinals.
15. Houston Texans: The Texans are thankful for having the best defense in the league. They are still in the playoff mix, and if they get there, they will cause big problems for whoever they play. They are 20-1 to get to the Super Bowl…I love those odds.
14. Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jaguars are thankful for seemingly, finally, finding their groove. They currently hold the sixth seed in the AFC.
Can Make Some Noise:
13. Buffalo Bills: The Bills still have to be thankful that they have Josh Allen, the defending MVP. At 7-4, they are still clinging to the playoffs, with the seventh seed.
12. Green Bay Packers: The Packers are thankful they are sitting in the sixth seed and tied with the Bears in the loss column, still very much in the mix to win the NFC North division.
11. Los Angeles Chargers: In the very tough AFC West division, the Chargers are thankful to be the highest wildcard team, sitting with the fifth seed.
10. Seattle Seahawks: The Seahawks are thankful to have cracked the top 10 again and are primed for the postseason. At 8-3, they hold the same spot as the Chargers in the playoffs.
9. San Francisco 49ers: Despite Brock Purdy’s three interceptions, the Niners are thankful to be getting healthy. When Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and George Kittle are all healthy, they very rarely lose.
8. Chicago Bears: The Bears are thankful to be in the lead in the NFC North, this deep into the season. They are also thankful their No. 1 QB Caleb Williams is starting to look like one…and they are thankful for their HC, Ben Johnson.
True Contenders:
7. Detroit Lions: The Lions are thankful to be stacked regardless of their playoff status at the moment. They have QB Jared Goff, RB Jaymer Gibbs, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, DE Aiden Hutchinson, and one of the best HC’s in the league, Dan Campbell.
6. Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens are thankful to be on a five-game winning streak and back in first place in the AFC North.
5. Indianapolis Colts: The Colts are thankful to have the best current RB in the league, Jonathan Taylor. And even after their loss to the Chiefs, sitting in the lead of the AFC South.
4. Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles are thankful to be the defending Super Bowl champs, and even after their shocking loss to the Cowboys, they are sitting with an almost insurmountable lead in the NFC East.
3. New England Patriots: What aren’t the Patriots thankful for this season?
2. Los Angeles Rams: The Rams are thankful that Matthew Stafford decided not to retire. They are sitting with the No. 1 seed, and Stafford is the odds-on favorite to win the MVP award
1. Denver Broncos: The Broncos are thankful to still be in the top spot on this list, even after their bye. And they are thankful their HC Sean Payton seemingly picked the right QB, Bo Nix.
