Top 10 WWE Men’s Power Rankings Tuesday, September 16th

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - OCTOBER 11: A WWE logo is shown on a screen before a WWE news conference at T-Mobile Arena on October 11, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was announced that WWE wrestler Braun Strowman will face heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and WWE champion Brock Lesnar will take on former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at the WWE's Crown Jewel event at Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31. A new week is finally here, and with Wrestlepalooza this Saturday, we should see how the WWE will run on ESPN. With Brock Lesnar returning on Friday Night Smackdown, it only shows how in tune we are with these rankings, the stories, and the direction the WWE may be going at times. Also, remember to check out the latest episode of Through the Turnbuckles, as Crissi Rae and I weigh in on the world of wrestling. That being said, let’s get to this week’s power rankings so we can catch up with some of the stories going on right now. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.

Cody Rhodes: Cody Rhodes came back with vengeance for Drew McIntyre, as predicted in this article. Rhodes put the entire company on blast once he did, “I’m back.” That means this Saturday, we should have an amazing PLE on ESPN, with a match like this.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins: Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch finally got their wish in RAW last week.  They now have a co-ed tag team match against C.M. Punk and A.J. Lee set for Wrestlepalooza, which will mark the return of Lee to the ring in 10 years. If you know what she’s capable of, then you know this match is going to be amazing.

John Cena: John Cena was doing his own thing, but that didn’t stop Brock Lesnar from coming to SmackDown last week and letting the wrestling world know he’ll be facing Cena this Saturday, one last time. I can’t wait for this match or this entire event at all, and we are all lucky to be only four days away from it now.

C.M. Punk: C.M. Punk had the last laugh last week as he finally got his way we he got a match against Rollins and Lynch. Now that it’s set in stone, you can bet Punk and Lee may be the last two laughing as long as the rest of the Vision keep their noses in their match on Saturday.

Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns was victorious in getting his shoes back after defeating Bronson Reed at the Clash in Paris. So naturally, the OTC took some time off last week after getting beaten down by the Vision. I  could see revenge happening soon enough, which should lead to Wrestlepalooza. That’s if the WWE has plans for him to compete on this newly branded PLE  on ESPN, since he’s filming right now.

“Main Event” Jey Uso: Jey and Jimmy Uso came to the ring on RAW last week to sort out their direction with the WWE Universe after Reigns was taken out by the Vision. That’s when the Vision showed up leading to a scuffle. L.A. Knight came out to help them, which succeeded until Jey laid out the Megastar, which threw Jimmy off. While Jimmy may want peace while dealing with the Vision, Jey wants no part of that when it comes to a chance at a championship match. YEET!

Bron Breakker: Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed continue to make waves in the WWE by being Seth’s henchmen. They showed up to cause trouble once again, which has now made Jey unhinged. Since this was the overall goal of the Vision in the first place, you could say they are winning the wars right now, with the eventual battle taking place soon enough.

L.A. Knight: L.A. Knight has been determined and tries to help anyone the Vision messes with, especially Jey and Jimmy. Unfortunately,  he said some words two weeks ago that Jey didn’t forget, leading to the Megastar getting laid out last week on RAW. That means tonight should be a banger because Knight will show up and run his mouth about this subject. YEAH!

Sami Zayn: Sami Zayn had a U.S. Championship title match against Ray Fenix on SmackDown last week while continuing his open challenge. Like I said before, this is and always has been a great concept, and Zayn is the superstar to do it with.

Jacob Fatu: Jacob Fatu has finally caught up with his cousin Solo Sikoa in the numbers game. For now, Fatu had no matches last week, so he should be active this week. I could easily see him running into Solo Sikoa again, but where they go from here seems like it will lead to Survivor Series again.
