Hello everybody, and welcome back to another week of the WWE’s Men’s Power Rankings. With the WWE ready to give us another great year of wrestling, we can now start looking forward to the Royal Rumble, which is Saturday, January 31st, next week. That being said, let’s run through the list and get you caught up in some of the storylines. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.
10. Logan Paul:
“The Maverick” Logan Paul makes his return to the list after being removed earlier in the year due to an injury. I know a lot of people will disagree with him being on the list; however, Paul is an amazing in-ring performer. From his high spots to his work on the mic, Paul shows why he’s not only a superstar but also a great wrestler.
9. Gunther:
Gunther and A.J. Styles had a wild match that was good in many ways. From storytelling to high spots, Gunther and Styles delivered, showing why both of them are superstars. In the end, Gunther hit Styles with a low blow, which helped him win the match.
8. Roman Reigns:
Roman Reigns has taken his normal leave, and at this time of the year, it shouldn’t surprise anyone. With the Royal Rumble in a few weeks, you can expect that Reigns will show up sooner rather than later. Later, not seeing him until the countdown strikes zero, and we hear his music hit as he walks to the ring for the Royal Rumble.
7. Drew McIntyre:
Drew McIntyre beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship and, since then, has found out what it is like to be a marked man. Last week on SmackDown, Jacob Fatu came out and attacked McIntyre after giving out a self-centered promo. Going forward, this feud should be entertaining to say the least.
6. Carmelo Hayes:
Carmelo Hayes continued the tradition of the U.S. Championship by defending it once again on SmackDown. This week, he defended his title against Leon Slater in another amazing match that stole the show. In the end, Hayes retained his championship over the X-Division champion, who deserved this spot in a loaded show of talent.
5. Dominik Mysterio:
Dominik Mysterio has continued his reign of terror with Judgment Day again, but for me, this still feels like it could be short-lived. Even with Liv Morgan coming back to inject some gusto to the group, I still feel that this is the final swan song and could erupt in everyone’s face if it leads to Mysterio losing his title.
4. Bron Breakker:
Bron Breakker and C.M. Punk had an amazing match on Monday Night RAW two weeks ago for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. Even though Breakker lost, he made his presence felt in Bronson Reed and Austin Theory’s match against Penta and Dragon Lee. Unfortunately, that led to a loss for the Vision, who seemed to not care, as they ignored Adam Pierce while beating down Penta and Lee.
3. “Main Event” Jey Uso:
Jey Uso and his brother Jimmy Uso decided to do a promo on RAW last week, which was about their recent success since becoming the WWE Tag Team champions. During their promo, Stephanie Vaquer came out to join in on the fun but was quickly attacked by Raquel Rodriguez. Regardless, the Usos are ready for their next match. YEET!
2. Cody Rhodes:
Cody Rhodes lost his title to Drew McIntyre, and since then has been on a tear. However, last week, after a Solo Sikoa promo, Rhodes cut one of his. At the end, he revealed that he would be entering the Royal Rumble before sending a warning to Jacob Fatu.
1. C.M. Punk:
C.M. Punk came out on Monday Night RAW last week to cut a promo on how he sees things going in the WWE. He talked about Cody Rhodes losing as well as his next challenge. That’s when Finn Balór came out to make a stake at this claim. Punk commended him, but in an article today, I saw the Demon being taunted, which could make this match even more interesting.
