Hello everybody, and welcome back to another week of the WWE’s Men’s Power Rankings. With Saturday Night’s Main Event happening on Saturday, we definitely have some things to go over and even a new wrestler on the rankings. Who is that? You’ll see once we get going, so let’s run through the list and get you caught up in some of the storylines. Also, remember to check out our “Through the Turnbuckles” podcast, as we cover topics in the world of wrestling. The show will be returning this week, so keep an eye out for that show. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.

10. Gunther:

Gunther has replaced Brock Lesnar at the tenth spot after his impressive win against John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Even though everyone wanted Cena to win, it was evident that he was overmatched by the Ring General, who has now defeated some of the best superstars in the WWE, since his return.

9. Roman Reigns:

Roman Reigns had a great match last Saturday at War Games, as he added a comical side to this match and the build for War Games. Since then, Reigns made it clear to both champs that he’s coming for one of their belts. That means Cody Rhodes and C.M. Punk should watch their backs for now, or they will have to acknowledge him soon enough.

8. Dominik Mysterio:

Dominik Mysterio defeated John Cena and won back the Intercontinental Championship on Saturday. Of course, he couldn’t do it without help, and this time that help came in the form of a returning superstar, in Liv Morgan. This led to the Judgement Day cutting a promo on RAW last week in which Morgan said that they have been weak while she was gone, and it’s about time to start ruining RAW again.

7. L.A. Knight:

L.A. Knight had a match against Jey Uso to see who would face Gunther for the right to wrestle John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event. After a very tough match, he was able to defeat Jey but eventually lost to Gunther. Regardless, the Megastar hasn’t lost any of his shine because he continues to keep himself relevant. YEAH!

6. Ilja Dragunov:

Ilja Dragunov defended his U.S. championship title against Tommaso Ciampa last week on Friday Night SmackDown. Dragunov won the match, but the story in the ring these two told was amazing to watch go down. That was until Johnny Gargano showed up and interfered with that match, which led to Carmelo Hayes coming in with the save.

5. Bron Breakker:

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed both had bright spots on Saturday at Survivor Series, but none were bigger than the masked man who invaded their War Games match last week. This ended up giving the Vision the win, but now everyone is baffled about the “Seth Rollins” like stature of the masked man. Since then, Breakker has finally got a chance to shine on the mic as he finished another strong segment from the Vision.

4. “Main Event” Jey Uso:

Jey Uso didn’t have much to do last week with no matches scheduled. However, that didn’t stop Jimmy Uso and himself from showing up and declaring that they’re back in the tag team division. This is an exciting announcement since it seems like the tag team division had been lost since Judgement Day, and the Usos stopped chasing the titles. YEET!

3. John Cena:

John Cena lost to Gunther in his final match as a WWE wrestler. Now that Cena’s in-ring career is over, he can focus on his Hall of Fame induction next year during Wrestlemania weekend. This will also be Cena’s last time on this list, so I want to say thank you to him for all of his years of entertainment. I’ve never been a huge Cena fan, but I’ll never doubt the body of work he put together. Cena has become one of the greatest champions ever, and if you didn’t see that coming, then you’re not a true fan.

2. C.M. Punk:

C.M. Punk had off last week, other than a few spots, and I’m fine with that, since he really didn’t have an opponent for Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, he did attend the event, in which he and Cody Rhodes both came out and said some words to Cena, before handing their titles over for a last-minute pop. This is truly why people love Punk and why the WWE brought him back.

1. Cody Rhodes:

Cody Rhodes had a match on Saturday against Oba Femi, who is currently the NXT Champion. They had a great match going until Drew McIntyre showed up, which caused Femi to be disqualified. Femi didn’t like that much and ended up flooring McIntyre just before Rhodes snuck in a Cody Cutter, which chased McIntyre away. Look for Rhodes to have some choice words for McIntyre the next time he picks up a mic.
