The 2025 season is well underway. Below is a breakdown of week 8’s top 10 first basemen:

1. Pete Alonso, New York Mets

2. Spencer Torkelson, Detroit Tigers

Torkelson has 33 RBI and leads MLB first basemen with 11 home runs.

4. Tyler Soderstrom, Athletics

On the season, Soderstrom has nine home runs and 27 RBI.

5. Nathaniel Lowe, Washington Nationals

Lowe’s consistent season continues with seven home runs and 29 RBI.

6. Michael Busch, Chicago Cubs

The Cubs’ first baseman has 34 hits, seven home runs, and 24 RBI.

7. Bryce Harper, Philadelphia Phillies

Harper has eight doubles, seven home runs, and 22 RBI.

Pasquantino has been inconsistent at reaching base but has six home runs and 24 RBI.
