The NFL Draft is quickly approaching, so I am taking a look at every team’s main targets. Let us know in the comments who you think each team should be targeting and what you think of our picks. Here are the main targets for the New York Giants:

1.  Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

I know they just signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, but neither of those options will be around for 3+ years, and drafting Shedeur would be addressing the issue now as opposed to kicking the can down the road.

2. Travis Hunter Jr., Colorado

While neither WR nor CB is a position of immediate need, I will never be opposed to drafting the best athlete in the draft and making a spot for him.

3. Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

If the pick is not a Colorado Buffalo at #3, I think the Giants could add a generational edge rusher in Carter, even though it is not a position of immediate need. This would be the best pick for this team, especially after signing QBs this offseason.

4. Donovan Jackson, OL, Ohio State

He is a position-versatile player who could fix a lot of problems on one of the league’s worst offensive lines as a day-two selection.

5. Deone Walker, DL, Kentucky

This pick would address an immediate need on the defensive line as a day-two selection.
