These are the 10 best QB prospects in the 2025 NFL draft:

1. Cam Ward

Has all the arm talent in the world, and an NFL coaching staff will look to improve his decision-making in the pocket.

2. Shedeur Sanders

Not the biggest, not the fastest, and not the strongest arm, but has an “it” factor than can make an entire franchise believe.

3. Jaxson Dart

Had it fairly easy at Ole Miss, but has the skills and talent to be a day-1 NFL starter.

4. Quinn Ewers

The king of intermediate passes, and can be a quality NFL player if he can expand that to all levels of the field.

5. Will Howard

The measurables are not impressive but a proven winner who shows up in big games and big moments

6. Jalen Milroe

Has all the physical gifts in the world but I worry about his ability to make reads at the NFL level.

7. Kyle McCord

Looked the part of an NFL QB with his mechanics, accuracy, and command of the offense this season at Syracuse.

8.  Riley Leonard

Proven athlete and proven winner, but a limited passing offense at Notre Dame failed to showcase elite arm talent.

9. Dillon Gabriel

Operated in a very QB-friendly system at Oregon which has me questioning how good he actually is after his poor showing at the Combine.

10. Tyler Shough

Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough during Pro Day at the UofL Football’s Trager Indoor Practice Facility Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Finally had a full season to showcase his elite arm and mobility this year at Louisville, but he’s already 25.
