Here are the 10 teams that are best positioned to win the World Series in 2025, ranked from 1 to 10:

1. Los Angeles Dodgers

No one is better than the Dodgers. If they are healthy, specifically in the rotation, they will be very tough to beat in the playoffs.

2. Philadelphia Phillies

They play in a tough NL East but enter the season as the most balanced of the three contenders. They need to get their bullpen figured out though, because it might be a problem.

3. Atlanta Braves

Health is going to be paramount to their success. They have all the pieces to make a deep run.

4. New York Mets

Is their starting pitching good enough? The lineup and bullpen are top notch.

They will compete, but we don’t know what will happen in their rotation with all the injuries they have.

6. Baltimore Orioles

Bad starting rotation, great pen, and young core. They have choked in the playoffs the past two seasons, but could be ready to take the next step.

7. Boston Red Sox

Lack pitching depth, but can make trades to improve it. The offense is one of the best in baseball.

8. Texas Rangers

Looking to bounce back after a down year in 2024. They need to keep their starting rotation healthy.

9. Houston Astros

They seem to always be in the playoffs and have the experience to win when it matters most.

10. Arizona Diamondbacks

Good young team who got better via trades and free agency.
