William Contreras: Plays every day and is an elite hitter, not just for a catcher. Perfect combo of hitting prowess and playing time, with a bit of speed too. Entering his prime at 27 years old.

Yainer Diaz

Plays every day and is an excellent hitter. Notably high batting average and solid pop. Averaged over .300 after the first two months of the season last year. Just 26 years old still.

Plays every day and is still an excellent hitter. Impressively offers both a good batting average with elite power. 34 years old now and seemed to slow down in the second half last season, but overall proving to be an ageless wonder.

Wilson Contreras

Elite hitter with good playing time. Will transition to first base, which should hopefully give a bump to playing time and health while maintaining his catcher eligibility this season.

Cal Raleigh

Elite power hitter who plays nearly every day. Poor batting average is the knock. A good bet for 30 homers with great counting stats.

Will Smith

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 12: Will Smith #16 of the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrates his three run home run, to take a 7-1 lead over the San Diego Padres, during the fourth inning at Dodger Stadium on September 12, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Harry How/Getty Images)

Good hitter with good playing time who plays for the best team in the game.

JT Realmuto

Still an excellent hitter with good playing time. Might get a bump to health and at-bats this year as the Phillies plan to give him more starts at DH and first base.

Logan O’Hoppe

Good hitter with good playing time who plays for a crappy team. Can provide a solid batting average with good power. Still just 25 years old (!) with upside for improvement all around.

Shea Langeliers
