Dak Prescott has turned the Philadelphia Eagles into one of his favorite opponents throughout his NFL career. After another impressive performance in the Dallas Cowboys’ massive Week 7 win, Prescott’s career numbers against Philadelphia now resemble the type of production associated with an MVP-caliber season. The latest victory only added to an already remarkable résumé against the NFC East rival.

Prescott improved to 11-5 in 16 career games against Philadelphia, continuing a remarkable run of success against the Eagles. Across those matchups, he has accumulated 4,369 total yards, 33 total touchdowns, and only nine interceptions.

Those numbers are particularly impressive when considering the consistency Prescott has displayed over such a large sample. His combination of production, ball security, and winning percentage against Philadelphia has made the matchup one of the strongest individual rivalries of his career.

Prescott added another strong performance Monday night, completing 15 of 27 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns without throwing an interception as Dallas defeated Philadelphia 38-21. He also added eight rushing yards on two carries.

The performance came at an important time for the Cowboys. Dallas entered Week 7 having lost consecutive games, but Prescott helped lead the offense to its highest-scoring performance since Week 4. The Cowboys scored 38 points and finished with 416 total yards.

Prescott’s latest performance was not necessarily his most statistically dominant game against Philadelphia, but it continued a trend of producing when Dallas faces its division rival.

Two of his three touchdown passes went to CeeDee Lamb, while George Pickens also caught a scoring pass. Prescott’s three-touchdown outing also moved him past Tony Romo for the most games with multiple touchdown passes in Cowboys franchise history, according to the team’s official recap.

The Cowboys also received major help from their running game. Javonte Williams rushed for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown, while Dallas totaled 204 rushing yards as a team. That balanced attack allowed Prescott to operate efficiently without having to carry the offense through the air.

More importantly, the victory moved Dallas to 3-4 and snapped a two-game losing streak, keeping the Cowboys firmly in the NFC East race. Philadelphia dropped to 2-5 after suffering its fifth consecutive loss.

For Prescott, though, the bigger takeaway may be his continued dominance against Philadelphia. A 11-5 record, 4,369 total yards, 33 touchdowns and nine interceptions against one opponent is an extraordinary career résumé — and Monday night’s performance only made those numbers more eye-opening.
