Two Minute Drill

  • QB Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams – The Rams will be without Matthew Stafford today. Brett Rypien will get the start at QB. Rypien worked with the first team in practice this week, so he is fully prepared for this start. He may be worth a punt play in DFS to spend up at other positions, but not worth an add and start in season long leagues unless you’re dealing with injuries at the position and have no other options.

  • WR Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams – The rookie standout is active after dealing with a knee injury. Nacua has 795 receiving yards on 61 catches with 2 TDs. He may be a risky play with Rypien starting at QB, but don’t sit him in your season-long leagues. You may want to fade him in DFS at his higher price tag.

  • QB Justin Fields, Chicago Bears – Justin Fields has been ruled out for today’s game against the Saints, but he could return to play in the Thursday night game against the Panthers. QB Tyson Bagent will make another start for Chicago. The undrafted rookie pulled off a surprise win in his first start, but fell back down to earth last week against the Chargers. This is a great opportunity to stack Saints players in your lineups.
