Cody Rhodes:
Cody Rhodes decided to make a statement by showing up to both shows last week that led to another confrontation with John Cena. This only builds on the story for Cody as he told John Cena he wants to face the guy on the shirt and not this whiny person that Cena has become.
John Cena:
John Cena came out to break up with us all last week. Cena said he’s been part of a toxic relationship in which, we the people, have been guilty of. From sad faces to unforeseen chants by the crowd in Brussels, everyone had bought into heel Cena, thus sparking the discussion if this is one of the top 10 heel turns of all-time.
“Main Event” Jey Uso:
Jey Uso ran through Austin Theory in their match in no time. Gunther thought this would be the perfect opportunity to attack Jey which didn’t go as planned. Instead Jey got a hold of Gunther’s belt as he evaded a charge by the champ, sending him flying to the outside of the ring.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins:
Seth Rollins decided to interfere with Roman Reigns’ promo on Friday night Smackdown, last week. This led to the two having words before another person forced their way into this face-off. I’m sure you know who that person was.
C.M. Punk: C.M. Punk
C.M. Punk wasn’t letting anyone else speak as he became the third wheel in Rollins and Reigns’ argument. Of course Punk didn’t want to talk as he quickly made sure everyone in the arena knew it was clobberin time.
Roman Reigns:
Roman Reigns came out to shoot a promo to get things out in the air. What he did was set up a triple threat match at Wrestlemania that has us all drooling over this booking. Snacks aside, this match is going to go down as one of the best matches all weekend.
Kevin Owens:
Kevin Owens was done with Randy running his mouth on Smackdown and decided to break up his promo. That led to the official challenge from Randy Orton for Wrestlemania that Owens accepted. That’s when Orton said he can’t wait to kick Owens head off. I can’t wait for this match to happen.
L.A. Knight:
L.A. Knight has been dealing with Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline a lot recently. However, none of that matters now that Braun Stroman won the match between him and Jacob Fatu to face L.A. Knight for the U.S. Title. This is going to be a big test for Knight since Stroman is an ex-champion and is also the size of an Ox.
Gunther:
Gunther got punked by Jey once again which is going to move him down a little but he died back this weekend. In a dark match this weekend, Gunther faced Punk in which he delivered one of the most deadliest chest slaps we’ve ever seen. That slap had Punk reeling so much that he said words I probably shouldn’t type here.
Bron Breakker:
Bron Breakker also took part in a dark match this weekend in which he apparently injured his leg. The extent of this injury hasn’t been released as of yet. However, on Monday, Penta helped Bron fend off the Judgment Day so if this injury is a major one, you could see a mix of those wrestlers fighting for the title in the future. For now let’s pray that all is well with Bron and that he won’t need to drop the title.
