3:07 p.m. EST Bo Bichette OVER 1.5 Total Bases
Bichette is on a six-game hitting streak and today faces Rockies’ SP Dakota Hudson. I am expecting the Jays to score five-plus runs today and Bichette to have multiple hits or at least an extra-base hit to get him over the total.
4:05 p.m. EST Jared Walsh OVER 0.5 Hits
Walsh has hit safely in nine of 15 games. That is well over 50% in my book. All he needs is a bloop or a seeing-eyed single. Play Walsh over 0.5 hits every game when he faces a right-handed pitcher.
4:10 p.m. EST Chris Sale OVER 6.5 Strikeouts
Sale has 13 strikeouts in just over 10 innings. His pitch count was 96 in his last game so he should make it through six innings. He had two tough matchups to start the season. I see him breezing through a weak Marlin lineup and reaching seven-plus strikeouts today.
4:10 p.m. EST Ryan Pepiot UNDER 6 Strikeouts
Pepiot does have solid strikeout numbers but 11 of those were against the Rockies. The Giants are a pesky lineup and average only 7.7 strikeouts per game. It’s going to take a very solid effort from Pepiot to get to seven Ks today to beat the prop. I don’t think he will surpass five.
4:10 p.m. EST Ronald Acuna Jr. OVER 1.5 TOTAL Bases
Acuna is starting to heat up and has 4 hits out of his last 11 at-bats. A top player who will get 5 plus at-bats most days. I think he can get us at least a double today.
