This Weeks Record: 7-8
Last Weeks Record: 6-5
Past Five Weeks Record: 48-32-5
Jarren Duran MORE than 0.5 Runs
Duran has been great for the Red Sox. This year, he was selected to the all-star game and named MVP. Since the all-star break, Duran has at least one hit in all six games, including four multi-hit games and 11 runs scored. Although he faces a lefty tonight, that lefty is Nestor Cortes Jr., who has struggled on the mound lately, and the Yankees bullpen has struggled lately, too. Duran should be able to continue his hot hitting tonight, and, with his elite speed and base running ability, he should find a way to cross home plate
Grayson Rodriguez MORE than 5 Strikeouts
He has been very good this season for the Orioles. Even in starts where he has given up a lot of runs, Rodriguez has still racked up plenty of strikeouts. He has recorded six or more K’s in seven of his past eight starts and seven or more in each of his past four starts. When it comes to prop betting, I pay close attention to the trends and the numbers, and these numbers tell me this is a great bet tonight.
George Kirby MORE than 6 Strikeouts
Kirby has struck out six or more batters in four of his past five starts and seven or more three times in the past five starts. Like with Rodriguez, this is me trusting my gut and following the trends and what the numbers are telling me. Kirby is also in a great matchup tonight against the White Sox, who rank last in MLB in runs per game, second last in hits, and last in OBP and SLG.
Lawrence Butler MORE than 0.5 Runs
Butler has been on fire since just before the all-star break. He is riding an eight-game hitting streak, and seven of those games have been multi-hit efforts. He has scored an amazing 12 runs during the eight games, and his success could certainly continue tonight in his matchup against Carson Fulmer and the Angels. The Angels rank 29th in MLB in ERA this season.
